help me with this one>>A fixed male tied up??? Why would a male that has been fixed, tie up? I though once they was fixed he would not do that. (This was a friend of mines dog) He is a yorkie but was fixed because if you could think of the things could go wrong in breeding, that is what he is. A yorkie at is about 20lbs, very bad under bit and ect. He does not look like a yorkie, but trust me he is, I know the mom and dad very well (not one of mine) Any way he was so ugly they fixed him but he just breed and tie with their female that they did not want to breed because she is too small. Has this ever happen , did they have puppies??? Thank you for any info. |
If he was neutered he can't produce puppies but yes, a tie is still possible |

Yep, a neutered male can still tie. Fortunately, he'll be shooting blanks though. :D An important thing to remember is that an unsupervised tie is still very dangerous for both the male and female. |
A neutered male cannot reproduce but can still tie. It should not be allowed because all ties should be supervised and there is a slight risk involved, so there no reason to put the male or female in any danger when it isn't necessary. |
