Vineland and Englewood, NJ Breeder Reviews?
 
Hi,
Does anyone know about Joan Evans of Tink-R-Toy yorkies in Vineland, NJ or eugene Nordquist of Easthill yorkies in Englewood,NJ? I have spent some time on the phone with both of these breeders and they seem to be legitimate and caring. I found their onfo from a link on the AKC breeder referral page. I haven't had much luck finding useful info about them on the internet. I would like to know if anyone else has any experience dealing with either of these breeders. I'm looking for a happy and healthy puppy. Thanks in advance for your help!!

i haven't heard of them. i searched jersey for a breeder when i was looking to get my yorkie and didn't find one i like. so i got my puppy from a "breeder" in PA (which i DO NOT recommend).

However, I have discovered a breeder that i do like now. Thomas Becker of Wingold yorkies. I know of him because he had to bring one of his puppies to the vet hosp where i used to work. I've emailed him and he is very nice to talk to. here is his website Tom's Yorkies - AKC Champion Breeder in New Jersey

i have not purchased a puppy from him nor do i know anything else about him, maybe other breeders do. i just know he cares about his yorkies and is a very nice man to talk to.

Hi My name is Amy. I saw your question & thought I could help you to find a good breeder. I do not know about the breeders you are looking at, but if you look up Toybox yorkies in PA. She shows her dogs & is a reputable breeder. I have bred my yorkie to hers & she has very nice yorkies. If you look at jolissa on this forum you can see my yorkies also. Good luck on your search.

Gus is a WinGold Yorkie.

Thanks for the advice, I checked with WinGold yorkies and unfortunately they do not have one available at this time.

Hi! I personally know Joan Evans. She is active in our local YTCA club. She is doing a great job with her breeding program and her dogs are gorgeous. I've seen them up close and personal - they're beautiful. :D

Happy Hands had a female available recently, & there's still an available puppy on the above web site. Debbie sent me photos, but I didn't visit.

I personally show dogs with Joan Evans and I can vouch she is a wonderful breeder. I have 2 of her dogs, the one is my avitar pic that is Tink-R-toy's thumbalina and I also have Tink-r-toy's witchy woman, who has 10 points on her but was pulled because she decided she doesnt like to show.
Joan does have pups available right now. This benefits me in no way, I dont want people to think Im benefiting of any of this.
Joan is a good friend and I would trust her 200 percent with my dogs

Thanks Chrissy :thumbup:, I have spoken with a few people now and they say that Joan is wonderful. I plan on visiting her on Sunday, I just have to check with her about what time she will be available. Hopefully the pups won't be sold before I get there :animal36

I went to vineland and made a deposit on my puppy last weekend! I haven't brought him home yet but I would still recommend Joan Evans to anyone who is looking for a great breeder. She is knowledgeable and very patient when it comes to answering questions. Thanks for all you guys' advice.

They were extremely cute. There was so much cuteness in the room I could hardly contain myself lol1

Don't know anything about either of them first hand, but did find some little tidbits on them, for what it's worth...

Joan Evans is listed as having participated in several confirmation shows with her dogs. She also seems to be a pretty active supporter of her local rescues and shelters. (Which is great!:thumbup:) Also, found a site where there is a Joan Evans that serves on the Board of Directors for the Delaware Valley YT Club...I am assuming it's the same person.

Didn't find much about Eugene Norquist other than where he is listed as being a member of the Watchung Mts YT Club.

IMO, it's always a positive if a breeders is active with at KC like that.

Congrats on your soon-to-be new addition. Be sure to post pics of the little fluff ball soon. :)
