5 1/2 week old yorkie please HELP! so i bought a yorkie pup 3 days ago. crackhead lady was selling it for 800 hundred. she told me the pup was 5 weeks n 3 days old; she said the mom stopped breast feeding them and is neglecting them so she feel its time to sell the pups. and me not knowing much about the breed i got it cuz it was sooo cute. after i got it i went online to do a lil research n found out its not suppose to be remove until 10 to 12 weeks. i tried calling back the breeder but shes ignoring my calls, i dont know what to do. the dog looks healthy, hes been drinking pup milk but he hasnt poop yet? dont know whats going on? tonite we decided to feed him sum wet food, hopefully he will poop. i called the vet and they told me he should be fine, just keep feeding him n keep him healthy, n come for a doctors visit at his 6 week. i know for a fact shes not going to give me a refund, she prbly used it on crack or watever. n if i give it back she is going to try to sell it to sumone else. i just hope my pup will be okay. can i bring the breeder out to court? what should i do? |
There is some great advice in your other thread and I'm sure some more people will post here |
ok so first make sure he little thing is eating and drinking well. I feed my puppies 4-5 times a days at this age When you pull on his skin, it should come back down right away, Make sure is gum doesn't look grey. Also look if he got any little bump on stomach (hernia). Make sure the vet do a good check up!!! That breeder is a very bad person, I would post her name, info and website if any on yorkieTalk to warned others.. Now if the dog is healthy, it will be hard to take her to court for selling the pup to early.. It is very sad but there isnt much you can do.... Hope he will be ok, best of luck |
I am glad you got the puppy away from her. Just make sure she is eating every few hours even at night and she should do ok. Any sign of tiredness or wobbliness get her some nutrical, or kayro syrup and head to the vet. |
