Well he said 3 but I could have sworn I seen 4 on the xray itself. I wasn't very impressed with him, so I am going to get a second opinion, he was telling me c-section, but he didn't know yorkies that well:rolleyes:, thats why I went there cause they said they did. So I am going to get another appt. with a different Vet.:)

Well, I see what I assume are three heads for sure. That's a nice sized litter. So was this a new vet you went to? Why did he think "c-section"? I'll say an extra prayer that doesn't happen.

Its a new one, I wanted to get someone closer to home, just in case I needed one quicker than I go get to the one I have been using, I am wondering if they just say that to scare you and or do it for the money or she needs one, I can't believe she would she isn't tiny. Anyway I will let you know what I find out, I am going to a different Vet:rolleyes::D

from what I could tell, it looks like her pelvic area is large enough for them to come through

So, when will you go get that second opinion? Will you have them do more xrays or just take the ones you have?
Oh, looked at the last xray pic again......do I possibly see 4?:rolleyes:

I agree- I would have another x-ray if that vet did not know what he was doing. Judging from the pictures you have posted of her pelvis and going by her weight, I don't personally think she will need a c-section. She looks like the perfect size for pups to me :)

I STILL say FIVE puppies...I am praying for that precious little boy to come my way :p :woof:

My guess is going to be three, possible four because i see three heads but in one picture i saw four spines :confused:

The x-ray looks kind of distorted to me. It plays tricks on your mind and makes you think one thing and then another!

Do you know if Blossom's mother had to have a c-section with any of her litters or if she had any problems giving birth? I have been told that could play a role in how labor goes, so you might want to talk to the breeder you got her from if you don't know for sure. Just a thought!

I am guessing three.
This last time that I took Destiny in the vet said they saw 4 but she only had 3, so who knows?

How exciting!! I can't wait to see the puppies once they arrive!! Keep us posted!!
