Update On Expecting Mama's
 
Ok. Here is an update! We have another one on our list of expectant mama's! We may have some Christmas pups! What an exciting time of year to have a new litter of pups!:animal-pa

Halle: December 26, 2008
Brooke: December 28, 2008
Jade: January 1, 2009
Princess: January 6, 2009
Ginger: January 8, 2009
Bailey: January 12, 2009
Rosie: January 13, 2009
Blossom: January 14, 2009

Wow! She has a belly full, doesn't she! How is Princess feeling? Do you find that she still tries to jump up and down off of the couch or bed? Rosie is on day 38 and I need to stop her so often from doing this. She is beginning to show now so I will have to get a belly shot of her showing. :aimeeyork

Ginger is due about 5 days before my Rosie is due. Rosie is finally beginning to look pregnant! I will take her a week before her due date to have an x-ray as well. Keep us posted with how Ginger is doing!:aimeeyork

I can see a little belly on Blossom there! How is Blossom doing? How much weight has she gained so far? Rosie started out at 5.20 lbs and then went down to 4.12 lbs and a few days after that went up to 5.04 lbs. She loves her new pregnancy food and seldom will eat her regular dog food now. Her appetite at first decreased, but now has increased! Keep us posted with how Blossom is doing. Love the pic!:aimeeyork We will have to take photos the same day to compare bellies since they are due one day apart from each other!

Thanks for posting the photos of Halle's cute belly! How many does she have in there? Only a few more days for her! How does she do moving around? Rosie isn't nearly that big yet, but when I go to pick her up or move her she moans. Not like she is in pain, but that it's a chore to move or be moved! She still gets around ok though. I am taking my male, Buddy, in for his shots and to have his eye looked at (he scraped it and I have been putting medicine in it 3 times a day for the past week). When I go to the vet today I am going to ask his opinion on Rosie jumping up and down off of the couch and how long it is ok to let her do this. It's the jumping down that worries me! I have heard some say it's ok, but some say not to let them.

My Son's TAffy is due soon.. we are taking her to the vet for a sonogram on wenesday. We don't know exactly when IT happend because she was supposed to be spayed when we adopted her at the shelter. but her belly is BIG..Taffy is a Jack Rusell and the daddy is my yorkie Harry boy...

This will be Skittles and Chico's last litter. She is due Jan 2. She'll be going Friday to have xrays done. I'm already wagering that there are at least 5 in there. I cant feel movement like I did last time so that is why I think there may be more. She seems bigger this time around too. I've included pics from her 54th day last time (cowboy blanket background) and today is day 54 for her and the background is cream. Let me know what y'all think?

I love the heart cover ups. LOL! Skittles looks like she will have a good size litter! And she still has 9 more days at least. Well, that makes sense...not as much room to move around with a lot of little pups in there! I can't wait to hear how many your xrays show. Keep us posted!:aimeeyork

Here are Brooky Wooky's belly shots after a bath a few days ago!! :D

Her belly is not hard yet and I can't feel too much kicking, so I'd say we have at least another week. ;)

Just an update. Got the whelping pen up and Princess keeps going into dark places. She is on day 51. The puppies are moving around alot. I think I have the calculations correct. Told fiance to stay near home in the next few days. We'll see. Congratulations on all who have had their pups come into the world...may they be happy and healthy! :congrats:
