Alright we are getting there!!!! This is gonna be an all nighter!! Daisy's temp dropped to 97.9 an hour ago and now she is getting really uncomfortable and starting to nest. We should have pups by morning!! :D

1 girl so far!!! 5 and 3/8 ounces born at 7:45am. Still waiting on the others....:D

Another girl just born at 8:40am!!! Weight 5 and 7/8 ounces. Will keep you posted!!

No the placenta still hasn't showed up, but it is right inside her. I tried to pull it out, but the cord let go

I guess I should make some whelping pudding. I gave her vanilla yogurt and pedialyte...

2 boys one weighing 5 and a half ounces and the other one a big boy weighing 6 and 5/8 ounces!!! I think there might still be more!!! I am crossing my fingers for five!!! :D:D:D:D :yay_jump::yay_jump::woof:

Wow, I'm just getting caught up on this thread this morning, was getting ready to reply to some posts, and BOOM, there is alot happening this morning that I can hardly keep up! So, let's see.......
- Congratulations to all the January mommies so far....Jade, Sparkles, and Princess, I believe....and to the late December mamas as well. I think I probably congratulated them already somewhere, but if not...CONGRATS!
- DorkyYorkies...from the pic you posted earlier, my guess was going to be four....I see you have two already, so we'll see if I'm right or if Kim's guess of 5 is correct. Hope the whelp continues to be problem free!
- Leucothea, has that last placenta passed yet? Hope so; kind of odd that it's right there but won't pass????:confused: Hope you don't have to make a trip to the vet for help.
- MinMuf1; from your belly pics, looks like your little girl is about ready to go. What a sweet little round belly she has. I'll be looking for your post as to how many pups the xray shows!
- Taffy looks ready to pop also and with the "nesting" she's been doing I'm kind of surprised she hasn't had them. Very excited to see those puppy pics...I'lll bet they will be cute as can be.
- ...and KIM; can't and wouldn't forget about you and Blossom. Yes, I can see a difference from last weeks picture and the three new ones. I agree with Cindy....looks like there could be a good sized litter in there. Wednesday for the xray?......I'll be watching for the number announcement.

I played a joke on my family on Christmas because I was running late getting the their house and they called asking where I was...I told them I was at home whelping puppies and there were already ten! They actually believed it and said "Oh my gosh is the poor dog dead yet?!?!" Needless to say they were all disappointed that there weren't really any puppies yet!

I think it would be funny if there were actually ten but I am beginning to wonder about there even being 5!! I think four is my lucky number or something because this is the 3rd litter between my two girls and all litters have had four pups!! I want five!! Just once!! LOL :rolleyes:
