Question About Right and Left Horns In dogs they have right and left horns. When carrying puppies some are attached on the left and some are on the right. I understand that the pups will attatch on one side or the other and that stays the same...just like a human. Is there a separation/wall between the right and left horns/sides or can the puppies interact with the pups on the other side? I hope this makes sense?!:aimeeyork |
The uterus is shaped like a "Y". The horns are the upper legs of the Y. I doubt there is much communication going on even in the same horn. |

I don't think she meant communicate, she said interact. The puppies can still feel, and I think she meant like twins in a human uterus being able to interact by kicking and being able to feel the other twin there. I am not so sure myself how much interaction they can do, being that the uterus does not allow them to be side by side the way our uteruses do. However, I am sure they can feel eachother to an extent, being that late in the pregnancy we can feel the puppies move around from outside of the belly. I am sure its stronger from the inside. |
