Should I bring anything with me??? I am going to meet what I feel is a wonderful breeder who is placing a few of her adult and adolecent yorkies, she also shows and obviously can not keep every dog. I am going to meet the dogs and talk with her and to see if one of them might would fit well in my family. I don't think I have ever been so nervous, not really sure why I am nervous but I know that if I were her, it would not be easy for me to place an adult. I was wondering if I should bring anything specific with me. Or any good questions that i might want to write down. I have met with breeders in the past about puppies but never before about an adult. Is there anything extra I would need to take into consideration? We have not yet discussed price but I feel like I want it to be more about the right dog than the right price, should I bring money with me just incase everything goes perfectly and we both feel like I have found the right match? I just like to be prepared. Maybe I am overthinking this?!?! |
Let the dog PICK YOU  ...that's my advice ;) everything will be fine :p |
You might want to take pictures of your dog and your home so the breeder will have some idea of what kind of home her dog would be going to. I wish you luck. Please let us know how it goes. |

When I called the breeder I got Pixie from, she wold me about Pixie the 13 month old female and she sounded exactly like what I wanted so I went and saw her that night and my husband said take the money with just in case, well I am so glad I did, 4 hours after talking to her on the phone, Pixie was home with me. She was spayed, I knew exactly what she would look like and she had a silky coat, everything I was looking for. You will now which is right for you!!! |
