I did check the usda breeder's list for her name. It wasn't listed.

Her site doesn't provide much information. I would ask a lot of questions and have her email me with her guarantee and contract before I proceeded further.

Like Deb mentioned, there is not much info on the website, so I would definately ask lots of questions. The one thing I did see that is kind of a red flag for me would be the number of litters they have had in recent months--5/1, 5/20, 6/1, 7/1, 7/10. That's 5 litters in a 3 month period.
Also, the pups on the home site that the man is holding do not look like Yorkies...they look like another breed, but I don't see any other breeds mentioned on the site? :confused:

I agree those puppies look like Shih tzu puppies. Under one of their links they also have chihuahuas.....

Gotta question??? What if this breeder has 5 females and they all came into heat in a short amount of time. I am wondering cause should this always be a red flag or should you just question it? :confused:

It's just not a very common practice for breeders to have that many litters consistantly in such a short time frame. What is the purpose of that? Not uncommon for one bitch in heat to pull the other(s) into heat at the same time, so yes, that is entirely possible. It's just something I would want an explanation on is all...

Her new website is called www.katspups.com. I got JoJo from her and he was and still is in excellent condition. Kathy is very professional and informative, and the transaction went smoothly. She gives you information on the parents, photos, etc. JoJo just turned three this month and is 7lbs. He is a healthy happy punkin love!! I would definitely buy from Kathy again!! :)

However, her "Bill of Sale" is a bit sketchy.

We list puppies for some wonderful and experienced breeders in the
Antlers Area.

Is that considered a broker....just curious :rolleyes:

I would guess so...However, one would not know for sure unless one is privy to monitary action between her and the breeder

Looks like a broker to me. She listing dogs that are other than her breeding.

I would not purchase a yorkie puppy from anyone in SE Okla., that area is flooded with bad byb's and mills. This is near Atoka, OK which is also known for horrible breeders. Chances are much greater you will be getting a sick pup, rather than getting a healthy one, regardless of who you buy from in these areas.
