Something has been bothering me for quite some time...
 

And hopefully someone can help me put it behind me...but I have been interested in getting a Tsa-La-Gi yorkie for quite awhile.. I just love the way her puppies look...but sometime after getting MeiLing a former member me that she was getting of her puppies so I waited to see pictures of the puppy but nothing. So I had asked about the puppy and she said she is no longer getting a Tsa-La-Gi puppy because she was told that their bloodline has a lot of medical problems. So my question is, does anyone know if that has some truth to it or if that former member was making up lies and rumor about that particular line know that I wanted one and was eventually going to get one.

Everytime I go to Glenda's website I stare at the beauty in her puppies...i did find a for sale thread on here today that had a girl puppy that looks just like Glenda's puppy and did inquired into purchasing her but she was for pet only as I am looking for a show/breeder prospect.

Dont take my word for it, I have no first hand knowledge, but everything I have ever heard about Glenda's dogs have been positive. And your right they are beautiful.

She has beautiful dogs and I have been fortunate enough to see some of them in the show ring. I have been looking for a decent show prospect for a couple of years and every time I think I have found one, someone has something to say about the line no matter what line it is. I have come to the conclusion that there isn't a line out there that hasn't had problems and from now on when I find something I want, I am goin g to do my own research and based on that, not gossip, I will make my choice regardless of what people say.

yes her puppies are beautiful...i kinda question what that person told me because she is a compulsive liar...and i think it was her way of detering me from getting one...maybe due to jealousy...everytime i go to look for a puppy i look for one that looks like Glenda's puppies....hehe

Wow I bet it was amazing watching her puppies in the ring...she had sent me video of a show prospect girl and although she was young...she already had the show walk down and everything...there seems to always be someone hating on someone else...and it gets out of control sometimes...and because of these rumors it gives the show/breeder a bad reputation....and i don't understand why someone would do that...if that was me i would give them the props they deserve not make up stories to hurt their name...thank you!

I know the site you are talking about as it's marked as a favorite on my computer. You are right... she has beautiful dogs and many of them do well in the show ring. I do not know of any problems in her lines although I would imagine that anyone could have problems now and then. I do know that several members here on YT have her dogs so you might want to start a thread asking who owns one and if they have had any health problems. Good luck! I'll be interested to hear!

i may just do that...because her babies are beautiful...a bit pricey but beautiful...hehe

I've heard both positives and negatives about her. She does have some pretty dogs on her website. I've seen many that own her dogs that are extremely happy, and I've heard a few negative stories about her dogs from people I trust...and I've come to my own conclusions since then. I guess you just have to decide for yourself if those are the lines you want or not

thank your for your help...i have heard both negative and positive...i just wasn't sure what health problems her line has....since no one really has been specific....i will continue to do my research and see where it goes from them...thank you!

I do not know anything about this breeder.. but again it is so hard when buying a good yorkie.. but they are out there.. and like others say.. it is a personal thing I believe..follow your gut instincts..

my sentiments exactly - its strange what brings out the evil in people but jealousy seems to be the main emotion to do it-

If you find what you want - go for it- her dogs are gorgeous and i too have seen some in the show ring and am very impressed

I've seen her site before, and I believe there is a great breeder on YT that has her link on her site. These babies are BEAUTIFUL. I hate knowing you found something that makes you feel that you have to go another route. But you have to go with your head and not your eyes or heart.

I bought a Tsa La Gi puppy last month. He is the most wonderful little puppy, and I couldn't be more thrilled with him. He is beautiful, and brilliant, and passed his vet examination with flying colors. He is exactly what I've been looking for.

I feel the pictures on Glenda's site don't hold a candle to the way her dogs look in person. She posted the latest pictures of those puppies for sale the day I was there, and let me tell you, all of those puppies look ten times better in person than they do on her website. I thought about emailing her and telling her I thought they looked homely in those pictures, compared to real life, and that she should post some better pictures of them. All of her dogs were absolutely gorgeous, and the puppies were the cutest little things I've ever seen. I'm so glad we got to drive there in person to pick out our puppy, and got to see his parents, and all her gorgeous show dogs. It was a wonderful experience.

I wanted a puppy from Tsa La Gi since I first saw pictures posted on YT over a year ago. I never dreamed I could afford one of her dogs, but someone here posted that it wouldn't hurt to ask, that Glenda sold pet quality puppies for as reasonable a price as pups you buy from a BYB. I am so glad I read that post, because I never would have called Glenda otherwise. Our puppy has a fabulous pedigree, and a champion sire. Some of the other puppies for the same price had both champion sires and dams, but I liked the male I bought best.

I found Glenda tough to deal with. She thought I was a "breeder" because I asked so many questions and wanted a quality dog as a pet. I got upset trying to deal with her last year, and waited a whole year before swallowing my pride and approaching her again for one of her dogs. I could never find any other puppies I liked as well as her dogs. I am very happy I tried a second time to buy one of her puppies, because I got exactly what I wanted. He truly is just as smart as he is beautiful, and he has a wonderful personality. I can't see how anyone wouldn't be thrilled with one of Glenda's puppies.

Glenda does have beautiful yorkies. I should know - I own one myself. She finished in just 3 weekends with 3 majors! And what a personality! I would die without her. I have also had her tested and she has cleared all medical tests and exams. I also have a pup from my girl that is also fabulous! The stud I used is a champion and BIS/BISS winner and the stud owner would never have let me breed her to their male if there had been something wrong.

Glenda's job is to ask a lot of questions when someone wants one of her pups. She cares and wants to make sure they go to the best home where they will be loved.
