Did you ever get a copy of the pedigree?

This is a crap shoot as far as I am concerned. I can not give you an opinion because too much is missing...the pic's tell so little..if you were buying a pet, I could give advise...as a stud potential I can not...

I had a Gator son and got small ears in his puppies..but those ears may not be trimmed close and just look oversized.. please know I am an ear freak! They are both clipped short, but saddle color looks blue..hard to tell head color and if the head is clear, but they are still young.

You can tell nothing about structure, top line, temperment, bite etc...tough call....good luck

This is all so interesting to me bc I don't know how much about pedigrees, but my Marcel (my avatar) has a bunch of Rothby, Durrer, Rievaulx, Jentre - and then there is a line called "BIS or BISS". Then, his line is almost all "CH." - so does that mean he comes from little champions, the little stinker? I don't mean to hijack, I just don't know much about dissecting pedigrees...but he's mostly Durrer, then Rothby. :)

Sounds like it, Ann. The BIS and BISS stands for best in show and best in special show. Marcel is just adorable, BTW. :aimeeyork :animal-pa :animal-pa :animal-pa :animal-pa :)

Aw thanks, Jim! Marcel is blushing under his fur :p. How cool, he has a pretty neat pedigree then - he coulda been a contendah! :D

LOL! He's so priceless, it would be impossible! Seriously, I couldn't even breathe without him. And he without me, he's such a Mama's boy! :D

Nope - it's Rigby - Rigby's parent's are both Durrer, from there the pedigree is almost all Durrer with some Rothby and a bit of Rievaulx. Then on Marcel's other side there is mostly Durrer with some Rothby as well. Both sides have that BIS/BISS.
