Anyone Familiar with YorkiesbyElainea.com?
 
Hey folks,

I'm new...looking for a yorkie puppy and found Yorkiesbyelainea. After reading a bunch of posts here, I'm just curious if anyone knows anything about Elainea Allen from Arkansas. I'm planning on buying from her but if there are bad reports about her puppies, I'll stop here. She seems reputable and safe. Seems to truly care about her puppies and how she raises them.

Not familiar with that breeder.....but checked out the website, and wasn't impressed. APRI is not a very well thought of registry, from what I understand. Her dogs are all registered with APRI.

NO! This woman is a usda breeder...which means she's a commerical breeder selling to brokers and pet stores.

I have never gotten a dog from the breeder in question though....a quick glance at the website though and there are lots of red flags...
--places pups early--"anywhere from 8 to 12 weeks"
--breeding 'Yorkie-Poos'
--advertises the pups as 'teacups'
--in regards to the 'limited warranty' for the dogs, if the purchased dog is deemed to have a life threatening illness, the only option is a 'replacement puppy'
--I personally am always wary of a breeder who has multiple litters within a short amount of time--per the website, she has has 8 litters this year--1/1, 3/20, 3/21, 4/20, 5/6, 5/19, 5/26, 6/2

I didn't see where she was a USDA breeder, as mentioned above, but if that IS the case, that's a definate no-no in my book.

(These are just my opinions based solely on the info on the website.)
I would have to pass on this breeder.

AKC puppy papers will be order upon request ?

I don't know about the AKC rules.. but in canada, It is not allowed to offer the puppies with or with out registration papers...

And for all the reason already mention by the others.. I would keep on looking...
