neutered male - mating? I had my male neutered about 6 months ago my female is not fixed. This morning I caught my male and female "together" - I didn't know this could happen. What's the deal. Any thoughts, advice or suggestions would be nice. Thanks Tane |
He's still a "guy"... he's just shooting blanks!! :D |
Oh my Gosh! They will still do that even after getting neutered??? My little guys were just neutered a week ago today. I have been looking soo forward to that not happening. |

:lol tears:lol tears:lol tears Yes they can still tie. Put it like this...Its just like when a man gets it done...he's still able to do you know what. |
We had a beagle neutered and he still did the deed...I imagine he whispered...it's okay, I'm fixed. ;) |
I think the percentage of neutered males that will still breed a female is fairly low...that said, sometimes boys will just be boys! lol |
breeding When the testicles are removed there is no sermen, blank or loaded..but some forget they are neutered, especial with a unspayed bitch in the house..hopefully, he will get better. I do not like the possiblity of introductioning an infection and some bitch THINK they are bred and will have a false pregnancy...good luck |
Normal Just normal for them to do that. We had false pregnancy and she didn't even have sex...it was't fun for our little one to go through that. |

Yep, that about sums it up! |
I have a male Rambo who was neutered when he was 8 months. Then the next time my female came in heat he tied with my Da-Miss. I was very upset and called the vet he said it was normal. Thank god she did not end up being pg, since he is now 12 lbs and she was only 5 lbs. It went on till last yr. He is now 8 yrs and he is not as interested in the females in heat anymore, he will sniff at them but thats it. So there is hope for you. Good Luck Sue |
