Small White patch on Forechest Just curious.....Can a Yorkie be a Purebred Yorkie with a very small amount of White on the forechest? Or does this mean that it was bred with a Parti Yorkie somewhere down the line? |
A small patch of white on the chest is totally normal . |

A white patch on yorkies is so common it is not considered to mean the dog necessarily carries the recessive pie bald gene. |
Interesting! I was wondering the same thing. My little Yoshi has a white hairy chest. I just call him an old man. ; ) I think its adorable! I also wondered if he might have some Parti in him. Hmmm... |
This is normal you can visit the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America and read the new disqualifications, it states that it is acceptable but that it can't exceed 1 inch at ist longest dimension.Hope this helps. |
