X-Ray Photos of Lily 60 Days Pregnant! 2 Attachment(s) I took Lily to the vet today for x-rays. Well, he said that he saw 3 heads and that there could be another hiding in there! I attatched two photos that I took of the x-rays. They are not as clear as the x-rays, but you can sort of make out the heads and spines! If you look at the top of the first x-ray you can see Lily's microchip! We are on puppy watch!:aimeeyork:aimeeyork:aimeeyork:thumbup: Yorksmama |
Wow! Awesome! I could absolutely see 2 of them. I think I would need you to point out the third, but after seeing Chloe's today I can at least make out 2!! Great news!! |

Yeah.........I posted on the "July Puppy" thread. Chloe had her X-rays today. The vet saw 4 puppies and pointed them all out to us. Three were facing in the direction of her head, and one was in the direction of her uterus. The vet said that there could always be more "hiding" but there were 4 on there. She weighed 4.4 pounds in January (may have gained a few more ounces. I got her when she was 1.5 years and she gained weight once I started feeding her better). She is now 6.6 pounds. The vet gave me high fat wet food for her to add to her usual food. |

I am guessing she is going to gain a little bit more. Today her stomach appears to have that "divide" down the middle of her stomach - perhaps the two different horns? |
I took Lily's temperature this morning and it is 98.8. Last night it was 101. Other than that....no other signs of pre labor. I have to go to work this a.m., but my son is her on puppy watch. I told him that I will have my cell phone on and if she starts panting, licking or just seems different to call me! I want to be here for Lily when she has her pups. Fortunately I only work 4 hours today and I am 1 mile from my house. :aimeeyork:aimeeyork:aimeeyork |
Wow, you are so lucky! We are trying to figure out who is going to do what for puppy watch. We have several people willing to watch her while we work. My fiance works about 10 min away and can occasionally check on her during the day. I work 45 min from the house, so it will take me a bit longer! |
Wow.....that's a fun video. I've been there and done that, so have experianced it myself with my yorkie, but no matter how many times you see it, it is sitll awe-somely amazing!:D Thanks! |
What an amazing sight to see!! Thank you so much for sharing with us!! |
I made it through my 1/2 day of work and Lily did not go into labor. Whew! She is 61 days today. Some panting going on right now, but unsure if that is because she is warm or early stages of labor. I have a close eye on her. Her temp is still on the low side since this a.m. 99.6 an hour ago. 98.8 this morning before work. :aimeeyork...:aimeeyork...:aimeeyork |
Chloe has been panting a lot - I know its from the heat though. Right now, she is laying on the cool tile with her face next to the water dish. Her morning temp has been about 99.4 every day. At night she is usually around 100. She moved today while I was taking her temp and it read 96! I knew I had to retake that one!! Anyway, keep us posted on the temp and the symptoms! |
