Sooo Excited!!!! I am sooo excited, I can hardly stand it. And she still has almost 2 weeks left!!!:eek: It has been more than a year since I had a litter of babies. when they get here I am going to be wanting to keep them or it !!!:D I had a litter about 4 months ago but about 8 days before they were supposed to be born the mom(Foxy) started discharging some green discharge and she went into labor before I could even call the vet(which it was on a saturday and my emergency vet is over 30 minutes away) She had 5 babies they didn't even have hair the lived for about 3 minutes and passed. I was so sad!!!!:( But everything seems to be going really well with this pregnancy. I will let everyone know what the vet says tomorrow!!!!!:D |

No, she said she didn't see any reason why it happened, except after the first dead puppy was born, she has one that was about as long as my pinky finger the was like mush and it was green...when I told her that she said that is probably what done it. That puppy had died inside the momma and was rotting and her body had to get it our of her so she went into early labor. It was really sad they were a little over half the size of a new born and they were fully formed they just didn't have any hair and they gasped for about 3 minuted and died. I was really sad and the momma cried for days, I felt so bad for her. :(:(:( |
Awwwww.........thats so sad!!! Terrible. Well, I am hopeful that all goes well with this pregnancy. |

Well, we just go back from the vet! Cookie has got 1 babY in there. I saw the x-ray but I forgot my camera so I didn't get a picture. It is small so she should have an easy time. Now the wait begins for that baby!!! I AM SOO EXCITED!!!:) |

She is 53 days today. She is really tired now and has been sleeping since we got home. She hates riding she gets very bad car sick and vomits alot.:( But the vet said everyhting is looking good and the puppy was small, I saw it on the x-ray it is really tiny, so Cookie should have an easy time giving birth. I am glad I used a really small boy! But Cookie now weighs 5 1/2pd's so she has gained nearly 1 pd!!!! :) Maybe there will be a baby thay didn't show up ;) I can hope can't I!!!!:) |
I guess you never know.......Chloe has gained 2.2 pounds so far! I read somewhere that its about 1/2 pound per puppy - so thats about right. |
Lola is 7 weeks tomorrow. I dont know exactly what she's gained because I didnt weigh her before she tied. But I know her average weight has been 5.75 lbs or 6.25 lbs . Right now Lola is almost 8 lbs ! I hear 3 heartbeats deffinately and her left side is much bigger so she might be carrying 2 in there and 1 in the other. I dont know if any are hidden up in the ribcage...Find out on Tuesday for her Xrays! |

2 Attachment(s) Well Lola is 7 weeks tomorrow so I took some pics today.Her belly is sooo hard and it's high up. She threw up two nights ago late at night and my mom heard her. I'e had to keep changing food recipes for her. Today I cooked white rice,eggs,100% beef frank and some Eukanuba mixed in. She gobbled it up so I gave her another small 1/2 cup serving and she ate a little bit more tonight. I know it's not the best food but she is getting some protein and her dryfood is mixed in also. I had to sit on the floor and hand feed her yesterday and today she ate out of the bowl ! :) She is 8 lbs even! She's gained about 2 lbs. But I can tell by her picture that she is skinny without her pregnancy belly! So I'm going to try my best to make sure she gets food. Genie |
