The strangest thing!!!!
 
Bentley is 6 years old and has been neutered for over 2 years now. Ever since we've had him, he humps Porsche when she is in heat. I thought it was just frustrating for both of them since nothing could happen. Today, for the first time, I saw about 4 inches of "lipstick" out!!!:eek: I didn't know he could do that after being neutered. Does anyone know anything about this "phenomena"?

Just b/c they have been neutered, doesn't mean he can't have his red rocket peek out :p

Yea, well my friends dog is nuetered and when Mia came in heat they actually locked up. My freind was really going crazy....I had no idea they could still do that

I was always under the impression that after they are neutered that the "rocket" wouldn't come out. I guess you learn something new everyday. Thanks for bringing this up. :)

When they neuter they take out the testicles (sperm fuel), but not the rocket, of course the rocket can only shot blanks, but it can still shot.

IF they removed the rocket, then they would have to do some sort of *sex change* operation and some how get them to still be able to go pee :p

Thanks for the information. I just thought that without the testicles they didn't feel arousal.:cool:

I breed staffs, I know when my bitch is ready for mating as my neutered OESD mates with her and sometimes they do lock! Its a great indicator as it means we never miss the right time, she has such long seasons and usually isn't ready till day 20+! Plus my poor boy gets a it of fun and always seems very proud of himself! I'm sure he thinks the pups are his as when they're born he's very paternal!:D ( Maybe she does too as she always lets him interact with them!)

I thought it was just frustrating for both of them. So I'm glad they're getting a little fun out of it. I want to breed Porsche one more time in the next year or two, so thanks for the idea. Bentley will be our indicator of the right time.:lightbulb
