Hartweli Kennels?
 
Anyone heard of them or have experience with them? They are located in Hartwell, Georgia. Thanks

Dee if the web site I found is the same I would say they have to many breeds.. and Big dogs too wow.
But I don't know them personally

Thanks Lori, yes they do have quite a few dogss but i am not big on paying a lot of attention to that as long as the one I WANT is taken proper care of and is in good health. Lots of people raise more than one breed but i swany (as we say in the South) I don't see how in the world they do it. Did you see that pretty yorkie girl on the website? isn't she a dollbaby.;)

Dee, yes they (Hartwell Kennel) do have different breeds: Chows, Shepards, Pinchers, etc... and are a kennel. The main thing is that this girl's littermate brother (from what I can put together) has a lot of white of his chest. He made loose it, but it just seems like more than normal (to standard) and looks like more under his chin and also seems like a patch coming up from the top of his head. Just something you need to be aware of if breeding. They do have a lot of coat. I did not see the dam - Georgia. Sparky - the stud is pictured there, seems older due to loose of hair on his nose. The female, I guess you are talking about is only 2 pounds at 13 weeks old. She might stay smaller. Wow, price is cheap though - 750. - 900. They are located just north of me.

Thanks T. I will go look again. I didn't even look at the male puppies. I am just in love with that little girl. She is just the cutest thing. Of course i would have to have a LOT moreinfo before I do anything. I am always on the lookout. usually, I am so particular I rarely see anything that suits me:)

TopKnot, I went back and looked at the adults. Those females are ugly and you are right the male does have a lot of white on his chest. At least, one of the little males did. They all seem to have a white spot. The girls doesn't seem to be very big. I have had white spots on mine before and gradually it turns.

I am glad you went back to look. It is all part of the research when purchasing. I look at not only parents, but liitermates and grandparents. So important. I have had small white spots too and they do grow out, if small. But this male seems to have a lot - spreading down the front of his chest and chin and even the top of his head. At this age he should not have a white sprout of hair coming from the head. Never saw that before. If you are going to breed yorkies to the standard - you have to check everything. It does not seem like the pedigrees will be much of anything - no champions up close. Cute pups for Nice pets! But breeding or show stock?? Like my dad always told me - You get what you pay for. I always wanted a bargin! LOL

i like Bargins, too and I am a sucker for a pretty face and that little girl is just the cutest thing.:)

I did notice that the adult females were a little off so to say also. the girl you are talking about is a cutie but I have never seen a Pup that I didn't think was ;) Good luck in your searh Dee I know you will find a Perfect Girl :)
