Congratulations on your 6 puppies. You did an amazing job! It warms my heart to see someone so willing and receptive to learn and to dig right in there and ask questions and call your vet when in doubt. Hooray for you! Now the fun as well as the hard work begins. Can't wait to see pictures of your new babies.

try to get her to eat some mushed up puppy food or wet puppy food. My girls don't eat right after whelping . Also, with your tiny guy, even tho he is nursing you are going to have to make sure the bigger ones don't push him off the teat. Weigh them now and I always weigh mine four times a day for the first week. You might see a tiny drop in weights in the morning then they should have a steady gain. if your little guy doesn't he is being pushed off. Move the others to the side on the heating pad and hold him to the teat for awhile all by himself. Oh, congratulations on your new litter.

Thank you so much!!! She won't even drink any water....I did give her some nutrical....I will definately take care of the little guy!!! I am so blessed that they are doing so well...I pray that it will continue!

Oh, I was watching for the other thread and just now found this one! I'm so happy for you. The awe in witnessing this that you shared in your post brought tears to my eyes.

Thank you all so much!!! I will post pictures in a little while or in the morning. I just took a couple during labor and I haven't even taken any of them individually so I have some snapping to do.

Congratulations on your large litter of 6 puppies! Wouldn't you know I was here at the start, then had to leave and missed the excitement of the rest of them. I am so glad that everything turned out so well for you and Fancy and the new little family. Congrats again...........look forward to pictures!
