Thank you to all the positive posters on YT :thumbup::thumbup: Looking for a Yorkie-Poo puppy in NJ davidsax1 Breeding my Teacup Olive I so agree with all you positive posters. I read ANOTHER last night and thought Another one bites the dust. And have you noticed its always the same few... You have to wonder how many dogs they've rescued. YT needs to do something about these posters that keeps Hurting Newbies feelings...bashing them ... Chasing them off. I'm SURE they didn't change David's mind about getting a Yorkie Poo And I feel sure Olive will still breed her female.... They wont change other peoples minds about wanting a mixed breed or if they want to breed their dog. Sometimes I think its like gang mentality Its just so old to see over and over the same people jump on newbies.:thumbdown Is this what YT is about? I know I'm not the only one who is tired of it. They should be ashamed of themselves...and I wish YT would do something about these Neg. posters.:thumbdown You can be sure they will cause this thread to be locked also. :thumbdown |
I Pledge To Be A Positive Poster! |
I agree :) Sometimes its hard not to get heated about something you feel very passionate about, thats why people just need to walk away if they cannot say something nicely. They dont need to say "I dont have anything nice to say so I wont say anything" they can just not say anything at all. Is it that importent that the world know that you dont agree with someone anyway? I have learned to not even read a news article if I know its something that upsets me. No point in getting yourself so worked up over something you cannot change, it isnt healthy for you. Its been a process for me, I am still growing, and I can get upset at things too, but kindness goes much further than anger when you are trying to get through to someone :) |

I agree. Actually I read posts for about 3 months before I got up the nerve to post here. This is even though, I bred Diva after months of research, all health tests done, talking to her breeder repeatedly and being assured by my vet that Diva was healthy. Because this was my first litter, I was ready for someone to assume I was a back yard breeder. So far though, I have not had any negative posts and I'm thankful. I pledge to be a positive poster also!! |

And I agree with the rest of you. I want to always be a positive poster. Theres LOTS of posts I dont reply to. I dont always agree with everything thats posted. But I am not going to shove my opinion on someone else. And they arent neither...They just think they are *They* need to get down off their soap box.:thumbdown *They* are ruining YT:thumbdown |

I read how you have read here and did all you can to learn before posting and breeding . No wonder you were afraid to post...lol Is it any wonder? I'm so glad you havent been scared off :D (((((hugs)))))) |
You know, so many of you claim you want no drama, and these type of threads cause just as much drama...so why even start it? I'm glad many of you are okay with breeding practices I and others would consider unethical..but I have to stand up for what I believe in. I have to stand up for the best interest of the dogs, not the people using the dogs to get what they want. Oh well, that's all I'm going to say about this...I just think this thread will cause the same drama many of you say you dislike. Honestly, it seems to me that the ones that always claim they want no drama are the ones that cause it the most. |

Then do not post on it |

I dont think anyone is starting drama by thanking people. No one said they were agreeing with unethical breeding practices either. However, say someones son or daughter was getting married, and the parents either thought they were too young, or didnt care for the fiance. Would the parents disown that child? Would they never speak to them again? Would they yell at the child daily? No good parent would do any of that. If someone is bent on doing things thier own way, its nice to at least have some support. I am no fair weather friend. I do not only associate myself with people that do everything I say. I dont know anyone here that supports puppymills or irresponsible breeding. But it seems that some breeders here think anything outside of what they do is unethical and irresponsible. |

It is not right to try to force ones opinion on someone else. And I think doing so in ways that are rude and chasing people off , is not what YT wants. As far as drama. Those of you who hide it in the middle of posts attacking others thrive on the drama.:thumbdown:thumbdown:thumbdown I do not post to this forum that often anymore. But I read it all the time. So every so often I get sick of the posts chasing people away from here. But I choose not to hijack that thread. I think thats being nice...Not looking for drama Calling people BYB'ers puppy mills...jumping on them for wanting to breed their dog or get a dog that is not AKC Yorkie... Is not being a positive poster or a nice person. Do you honestly think you and others are helping them to change their minds? I mean honestly? |

And I've barely posted on YT this week...been busy. Someone states their opinion in one thread and it's like OMG they are troublemakers  Seriously, if we all want to get along, let's stop with all of this.. |

Maybe if theres more of us who try to be nice so many wont leave so fast. Have a nice day |
Thanks for this thread. I agree that being positive doesn't mean that you agree with someone, only that you mind your manners. It's obvious to anyone with eyes that there is a problem here when new people ask things that show their lack of experience. Most of those threads degenerate rather quickly. I find myself defending those newbies, not for their wrong-headed ideas but simply because I perceive they're being treated unfairly. Since this is a moderated site, maybe a solution would be for the moderators to PM folks if their posts are too harsh, rude, sarcastic, etc. with a gentle reminder. I would hate to see this forum divided into 2 disagreeing camps. That's not why we're here and I would like to see us get back to using this forum as it was intended. :aimeeyork :animal-pa :animal-pa :animal-pa :animal-pa :) |
