Help Asap Please i just found a female that is going to breed with my bloo but she is in heat now and i dont know what kind of stud fee i should charge or what else to think about and how fast do yorkie breed after they meet :animal-pa |
Sounds like your behind on your homework. Has your boy been tested for LP, brucellosis, and liver shunt? Has the female? Have either one of them been evaluated to see if they are worthy of breeding? Have you studied the pedigrees of both the bitch and your male? This is not all about money, little lives are about to be created and you want to insure that they will be healthy and a good representation of the breed. Please do not add to the growing population of substandard yorkies. Do your homework, protect yourself and our beloved breed. |
I think you should do alittle more Research before breeding. I hope all the right test's were done On both dog's & there Breed standard & you know what you're getting into before studing,He will start to pee everywhere. Good luck Please do some searche's On yt You might change you mind. We were typing at the same time Listen To what lady hawk say's lol. |

If you got your male from a pet store - chances are pretty much he came from a Puppy Mill. Reputable breeders will always want to check out whom their pups go to and meet prospected buyers first. I know you love you boy, but please do your research. We have so many pups now that are not to standard. And you do not know what health problems any of these prospected pups could have. I would not risk it. Just enjoy your baby. :) Have you considered having him neutered? Check out information on habits a male may develop once bred. You may change your mind not to ever breed him. Please read and learn what puppymills are...they are aweful aweful places where dogs are kept in cages and bred over and over until they can't be bred again..they are nothing but breeding machines. They churn out poorly bred puppies, and many have health and behavioral problems. Stop Puppy Mills Inside a Puppy Mill Puppymills - Information about puppy mills and how to shut them down. Puppymills Your puppy most likely was born to a breeder that kept their dogs in conditions such as this http://www.thecouncilclaw.ca/images/...0cage%2011.jpg Please neuter your little boy and enjoy him as a pet and help educate others to not buy from backyard breeders, puppymills, and petstores. Dogs are suffering in these places and dogs are suffering every day from being poorly bred with health problems. You have a high risk of bringing puppies into this world with Liver Shunt, luxating patella, hip dysplasia, legge calve perthes, collapsing trachea, etc. etc. Please think about the suffering these potential puppies could go through and the heartbreak it will cause the owners. |
