So sorry for your loss...

The longer you breed, the more likely "something" will happen. I lost three of a litter of five the last time my Pebbles gave birth... so I know how it feels... the "what could I have done" feeling....

Be thankful you still have Meiah... I think the loss of a mom would be harder on me than the pups.

It takes time... but you will be feeling better... We are all here for you if you just want to talk. :big_hug:

I am so very sorry about your loss of the babies. I know it is a very difficult time for you, as well as for Meiah. Is she doing ok? Please give Meiah a big hug and we'll continue to say prayers for everyone. Alyssa sends her love to Meiah.

Brenda, I am so very sorry for both you and Meiah and the two wee ones that are now playing at the rainbow bridge. I understand about bonding with the pups before they are born I can only imagine the heartache. Sending hugs to you :ghug:

Thank you all for all your prayers and well wishes and kind words. They mean so much to me.

We are feeling a little better and know we need to move forward.

For everyone who has asked how meiah was doing...she seems to be doing better. She needs to be by me and freaks when I'm out of site but she is doing better. She has her HUGE appetite back and is eating well, and I'm trying to keep her busy with me and the others.

Right now I'm letting her spend some time with Mckenzie and I took a picture. They were sleeping together. I'm hoping they will bond since McKenzie is only 11 weeks old. We'll see :)

Again, THANK YOU ALL soooooooo much. You all mean so much to me!

I am so glad to hear from you and Meiah. Sounds like Meiah's health is doing good since she is eating. It will prob take her sometime to be able to move on from the loss of her pups. I surly hope her and Mckenzie can bond. What a wonderful picture of the two of them. It may be a good thing for both of them. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Meiah and your family.

I'm so sorry to hear about the pups. It must be a horribly painful and emotional thing to go through. It would be so nice if Meiah and McKenzie can bond as you hope. The picture is precious. Sending hugs and good thoughts to you.

How devastating, I hope you both begin to heal soon.
Breeding can be so heartbreaking. When I almost lost one of my girls during a c-section
I was ready to stop, but there is some magic about it and it keeps you going.

Breny, I\'m so sorry to hear of your loss. I lost a puppy a few years ago and I still grieve a little for him. The truth is that all the studying and learning that we do can\'t change the facts of the individual birth or puppy. We never know what set of circumstances we will be faced with when the actual birth occurs. There is no way to insure that there won\'t be problems.

You are one of the breeders I look up to here. Your caring and skill are excellent. I hope that you will be able to go on knowing what a joy you are on this forum and that we want to see you continue as a great breeder of these sweet little dogs.

I\'m so sorry you lost both puppies. It is hard enough to lose a puppy but to not have anyone left would really hurts. I feel for you and hope as time passes it will get easier.
