Have any of you had this happen? I dont know if I should laugh or be insulted...lol  Would you believe that one of the people on my waiting list ask "Since she had so many Puppies will they be a bit cheaper?" (Nala had 8 for those who dont know) Mmmmmmm NO.... When its a bigger litter alot of time they dont realize that you spend a lot more time with small ones bottle-feeding , making sure they latch on...More vet expenses...etc. And a lot of sleepless nights.(or it feels like it) Sorry I told her..they cost the same. Go figure...lol Have any of you had this or anything like this happen to you ? |
Yes, someone asked me the same thing about Brooke's puppies when she had 5. My response was: "nope, the more puppies, the more trouble." lol :D |

Nalas puppies are always so pretty They go to new homes faster then Allies do, I think people just think oh...you're dog had puppies. Not realizing all the worry , work and money that goes into them And can you imagine how many piles of Poopie by the time they're 12 weeks old I'll clean?!?!?!?!? |
I commend breeders, you guys have such a hard job...but oh so rewarding! I would love to have a litter of puppies but I will leave that to you guys who know what they are doing lol. some people do not realize the work involved. I got my max neutered becuase as much as I would love a new puppy, I couldnt risk the puppies because Im clueless. can understand why people want cheaper prices though, they are so expensive. I just wish that everyone who could give a puppy a loving forever home could afford it because they bring so much love into a family :) |

Then they said well I know someone who is cheaper my response was well then go buy one |
duh... That question would probably disqualify them as an approved home. Anyone stingy enough to ask that question probably is going to skimp on care. Since I don't make my living doing this, I can afford to hold my puppies until well-to-do or otherwise proven responsible people come along for them... |
Just out of curiosity, can I ask how much you guys sell your puppies for? Do you sell them with limited registration? When I sell Kallie's pups, I want them fixed but I am not sure how to adjust the price or even where to begin... Thanks in advance for an helpful info! |

Seriously, that was a odd question for her to ask you. Tammy |
I have not heard than one but what I do get is 'Since the puppies are 12 weeks old will you take less?' A lot of people think if you still have pups at 12 weeks then something is wrong with them. |

They ALL seem to want them sooner... Not going to happen... (unless they are your DAD...Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ) |
When I was ergoming 10 week old yorkie for a friend all she was asking was 300 and believe it or not she had someone asking if she would lower the price! |
I know how U feel I've had people ask me this too with Tif when she whelped 6 and yes it does take more work with bigger litter, more time, more food, more puppy pads, more cleaner. And I have the problem here where we live of adopting babies out at 12 weeks old everyone here wants them @ 6 or 8 weeks old..."So they can train them the way they want" ... (Even tho I tell them the whys of us keeping our babies until they are older)...I still won't let any go that young no matter what their reason is. Needless to say those people never came back to get one when they was 12 weeks old. NONE of mine won't leave my home at 6 or 8 weeks old. Lee |
