I just can't do it! I have decided not to do the breeding business. It is way more than I can juggle! I have a 2 1/2 and 18 month little boys and this is just too much! I have decided to keep Fancy, we have all really bonded with her and she is a wonderful pet. On the other hand, I haven't been able to bond with the others, so I have decided to sell them. This was a very easy decicion for me. I know it is in the very best interest for them and for our family. I'm sure I will be posting more often as time closes in for Fancy to deliver. You girl that really do this breeding right and give all their pets 100% of their love..I really hand it off to you. You are greatly admired! I would really appreciate if I would not have any negative comments, I really think this is a great thing! |
I applaud you for having the guts to make this decision. Sometimes you just have to be mature enough to put a dream on hold until the time is right and that's not easy. I can't imagine breeding,, showing and caring for all of these pups if I still had kids to raise. I waited until my kids were grown for this reason, now I'm really enjoying my dogs. Breeding can wait, your children can't, you only have this time with them once. Enjoy your family and down the road pursue your dream. Your dream isn't lost, it's just postponed. |
breeding I did not breed until my kids were in school. There was no way I could have taken care of toddlers and puppies..plus, the adult Yorkies and all the care they need...and I did not start showing seriously until they were in high school...best wishes |

I have a 2 year old granddaughter and she alone wears me out, I honestly don't think I could do it all with a baby and toddler. I wish U the best in U're whelping with Fancy, when is she due. I think it's awesome that you are honest enough to admit you can't handle it all right now. Perhaps you can fulfill your breeding later, but I have to agree your doing what's best for the furkids and your family!:thumbup: Breeding is alot of hard work and so is raising a family, so I couldn't even imagine trying to do them both at the same time. |

I too think it's a very responsible decision. It IS a lot of work, and if I had kids I just couldn't do it. I wanted to start young for this very reason. I'm not at ALL ready for human children right now, these babies are MORE than enough...;) |

I agree with everyone this must have been very difficult decision but you have to do whats best for your family and your yorkies even if it means letting some of your precious pups go. It takes courage to do the right thing |
