Pros and Cons of these SoCal Breeders?
 

Hi All,

In my search for a reputable breeder, I came across some names in SoCal and I wanted to find out any good or bad experiences that anyone here on YT has had or heard about them. My search for the "right" puppy has become very time consuming (I was on the computer searching from website to website until 7am this morning. yeah, I'm nuts for a yorkie!) so any information/advice you want to toss this novice buyer's way would be greatly appreciated.

Breeder: Cigale

What I Know: I know that a few YT members have gotten their puppies from here and have good experiences (in the past 2005-2006) but I think the one thread that really makes me question her is this one (which is recent):

so I wanted to ask for any positive/negative experiences others may have had from her

What I Know: not much. I just saw her ad in yorkies for sale and when I tried to search to see if anyone had experiences with her, I didn't find anything

What I Know: I contacted her after finding her website off one of those search engines. This was her response "We have been in business for 20 years, all of our puppies will have their first set of shots and are dewormed. We register all of our puppies with the ACA Kennel Club. Our puppies are health guaranteed, and they are all vet checked before they leave our kennel. For more info, feel free to give Daniel a call at 717-768-0045. Just tell him that Jennifer sent you!" Just wanted to know if it should be a red flag

Like I said, any info about these breeders would be greatly appreciated! Thanks everyone :)

I haven't looked at those sites but I think the best place to start looking for a breeder is on the YTCA website http://www.ytca.org/breeder4.html#CA

this is the only breeder in California that I can recommend. Deb is a member here and I think she might have a puppy or two right now.
