Parti Yorkie Question.....????? I hope that I'm posting this in the right place..... I'm not a breeder but I have a question for them! LOL! How do you get a Parti Yorkie.............I think they are sooo stinkin cute but I totally don't understand how you get the colors without them being mixed breeds...?????.....or are they??? I would love to get a Male......But if I bred him to my standard female what would happen??? LOL! I told you I wasn't a breeder!:D |
Nevermind.......I didn't really want one anyways! LOL!:D |
No one truly knows where that parti gene came from. Some swear it came from two purebred yorkies and others swear its not possible and that another breed was used somewhere. We may never know... |

Parti colored yorkies are the result of mating a pair of yorkies who each carry a recessive pie gene. If you breed a parti to a standard colored yorkie without this gene...you will get standard colored puppies who are now carriers of the gene. Take one of those puppies and breed to another carrier or parti and you may get parti colored puppies. I say may because it's still likely you will get some standard colored puppies in the litter...however they will have the recessive gene. Clear as mud? |
parti biewers are spotted yorkies.. very expensive... the high quality biewers start at 2k:aimeeyork Quote:
