This is such a blow to the yorkie community. He had gorgeous dogs and it is a shame that his lines will not ocntinue on. How heartbreaking for his family. May he rest in peace. |
Very sad that the man lost his life like that. Horrible how these repeat offenders get out and think nothing about doing something like this again. Jeeze he had only been out of jail less than two weeks. Continuing to say prayers for him and his family and friends. May he rest in peace. |

I know it is no doubt complicated but I have to wonder where is the showing partner thru all this? |

A little perplexing to say the least. I guess it just shows once again...(although certainly no one anticpates dying this way)...some kind of written arrangements should be left in case of your demise. I highly doubt he would want his animals distributed through a shelter situtation of any type. |

I emailed the CFTYC about the yorkies..Ill let you guys know what they say.. |
Someone has been arrested in his murder.... http://www.sheriffleefl.org/news/gen...s.aspx?id=5414 In an earlier post on this thread...it said 35 dogs were found in the home...the thread in rescues says 26 are available. Perhaps the business partner, family and friends took as many as they thought they could handle. |
I contacted them regarding the yorkies and the information posted above was correct there was so much contridicting info about the status of the poor yorkies people said family members had them but they went into the care of a vet. And like most have said what happened to his partner kind of strange how they did not come and rescue these poor babies in there time of need. Well hopefully the bloodline will go on in those people that where forunate to purchase his puppies since they are stating that they are going to spay/neuter the 26 they have. |
this was on a new thread.. in case it was missed by posters in this thread.. Someone sent this to me, how awful: To all my friends, 26 Yorkies (some puppies, some adults) have been taken into Skylake Animal Hospital this week (305-931-2113) due to the breeder being found deceased. The vet is looking for a good home for the dogs. If u or anyone you know if interested, please pass on this e-mail. Thank you, Karina Grinberg |
This is so sad, not only for him and his family.... but what's going to happen to the line he worked so hard for. I guess it's better they be spayed/neutered than possibly getting into the wrong hands. |
I just got a response from jennifer at CFYTC, this is what she said: "Thank you for your kind thoughts and words. Raymond’s estate has not been settled and the dogs are not available for a legal adoption. Our rescue has taken in 8 of the older dogs for temporary care while the estate is settled. Our prayers are with his family. " |
Cross posted with permission... Jennifer has asked that this info be cross posted from another list.... The Central Florida Yorkshire Terrier Club, Inc. wants to thank everyone for their kind inquiries to the Parquin Yorkies. It is a terrible tradgety what has befallen these dogs and we are very grateful to see the kind words being posted. However, it has come to our attention that some rumors of certain happenings are circulating and we want to be very clear where the CFYTC stands. Our Rescue is currently fostering several of the older dogs on behalf of the family until they are able to chose their prefered course of action. These dogs are NOT available for adoption at the current time. Under Florida law, property may not be placed, sold, altered, or given away without consensus of the court. This includes the dogs as they are viewed as "real property". The circumstances surrounding the estate furthur complicate the issues at hand. Any dogs removed from the care of the estate maybe reclaimed by the estate and the court system. The CFYTC or its Rescue is not affiliated or in any way tied to any dogs that may have been removed from the estate. The dogs in our possession are being cared for in foster homes and are doing well. We are humbled and honored to help in any small way that we can. The CFYTC web managers would appreciate this being cross posted to settle the availability inquiries of the dogs. We are a small club and only have so many fingers to reply with. :-) Jennifer White Secretary and Rescue Member CFYTC |
Jackie you need to post that on the rescue section too. Deana Prestigeous Yorkies |
