maybe? 2 Attachment(s) so i was getting kind of disapointed. it has been 23 days since pebbles first was mated. she hasnt been showing any signs that she might be pregnant, not sleeping more, not eating more, no sickness, a LITTLE more effectionate... but shes little miss independent. i thought my first shot at this was a failure... but... in the past couple days it seems like the area around her nipples has been getting a little swollen? i know this isnt any kind of a definate sign... and could very well be false pregnancy... and it is still early in the pregnancy, but i guess it gave me a little hope. heres a couple pictures of her tummy. let me know what you think (or if u can even notice anything) Attachment 202513 Attachment 202514 i know the one of her whole body is kinda fuzzy... but i had to include it because she usually hates being put on her back... but she had no problem today and even started to fall asleep while i rubbed her tummy. |
Well, I can't really help you much........don't want to say one way or the other unless it's really obvious to me. If you say the change is just slight, not knowing what it looked like before, makes it harder for us. I just wanted to wish you the best of luck; if you want her to be pregnant, I hope she is! Keep us posted....there's nothing like having a new litter of puppies around to give you that warm fuzzy feeling:2hearts2: :p |
You are getting a little overly anxious. It is just too early to tell. Very few females ever show at 23 days. The nipples swelling after a heat cycle is normal even if the female does not get pregnant. Just keep your baby on a good quality puppy food and probably in another two weeks you will know for sure. |
By six weeks.. she should just "pop" (if she is carrying more than one pup). You should know by then if she is pregnant... if not before. Wishing you all the best. :) |
thanks! im just getting a little too ahead of myself! |
