Hi Nicki...(is that your name?).... Brooklyn is sooo cute! It's like when you see those pregnant ladies that are adorable even at nine months, and you felt like a cow when it was you? hahaha.... anyhow, Brooklyn looks so much like my Phoebe girl. I hope today's the day! We're all holding our breaths!

Good morning everyone! No babies last night. She and I fell asleep curled up together. :D

Last night temp had gone back up to 100.2, this morning it's down to 99.0

I got her to eat some Cesar this morning, but just a few bites. She ate dry food yesterday, but so far none of it since about 9PM last night.

Today could be the day...:p

My last girls temp only went down to 99.2 and she ate all day long,but brought it up later for me. Good luck

Nesting all day...temp went down, back up, and now way down again.

She ate some yogurt around 4PM or so...that's all I've been able to get in her. Oh and a little cottage cheese and nutrical. :p

Sigh...looks like it's going to be a loooonnnnngggggg night...:cool:

Whew...looonnnnggg night...but no babies yet...:eek:

Brookie is fine, Mommy is dying! :rolleyes: :D

Temp is up again this morning, but the babies have moved again and there's one lined up about a half inch from her pelvis. I have her here at work with me, she's sleeping on the couch. I'm hoping she waits until tonight, but you know how it is...they wait for nothing...it's when THEY'RE ready...lol

SO mommy with no sleep is hanging in there, and Brookie (well rested) is making mommy be patient...:p

I have more belly pics but I'll have to wait until I'm home to upload them...:)

Well, we do have pups around 9AM this morning. Cici was upset, but no contractions and had a dark green discharge - so off to the vet we went. She ended up with a C-section. Yep! But mom and two pups are doing fine - trying to come out of the anesthesa still, but home resting. I got one pup to nurse so far and got them both to potty. We did have one pup that did not make it, so she did have three in all. The two survivng pups are both males and small, and healthy looking. I haven't weighed them yet - but they look very nice. My goal is to get the other one now to nurse.

Congrats! I was just about to PM you to ask how Cici was doing! I'm so sorry about the puppy you lost, but glad mom is doing well and the two surviving pups! Bless her heart, I know she was probably scared to death. I'm hoping Miss Brooke has these on her own...:hands:

Sorry to hear about the loss of the pup,glad momma came out okay though and the other two pups.
Did the vet say what he thought was wrong.Just not good enough contractions?
We had a litter of six here last time,one sac showed no pup for awhile so I checked her could feel nothing then out popped another sac- so off to the vets he checked her and another sac popped out so now we had 3 sacs,after he checked her she had some green discharge I knew that was not good-we did a section and all pups survived I was suprised after that green discharge for their was quite a bit of it,the first pup was turned sideways ,that was the problem.

I'm always worried when babies are coming, I'm a naturally anxious person and I'm forever scared to death that something will happen to them!!




I think most of us feel that way when our girls are due to whelp,natural feeling,I always feel more secure with a day whelp then a 2 am whelp...
I think because I dont have to worry about calling the vet out of bed!! lol

Green discharge is normal, but not if it is very dark green. He said that green dicharge is the breaking away of the sac and things getting ready. The problem was one the first pup had its head caught in the path and the one pup that did not make it had its stomach opened.
