I just don't skip and it's worked for me :) I don't want to run the risk of having deformed babies and run the risk of my bitch going into labor and delivering the first babies being normal and then the last ones coming out underdeveloped due to multiple breedings with days skipped. I usually breed day 8, 9 and 11...one tie each day. I had progesterone testing done before hand. Each breeding has resulted in 4 healthy pups. |

Doesn't matter if you breed one day, skip days, ect...a singleton can be the case at any time....that's why I said mother nature is something that happens but we all do it differently and I have had success the way I do it and yes I've missed a breeding but that's ok it happened for a reason and if it was meant to be then it was meant to be :) I'm not in this for the money or puppies. If the breeding was missed it happened for a reason and I believe that with all my heart! Donna Bird Brooklynn's Yorkshire Terriers |
