Another AKC Litter Registration Question When you sell a pup to someone and they register the puppy, do you get a notification that they've done so? Are you able to look it up or do you forfeit that right when you sell the pup? Does that make sense? :p |

I check on mine all the time. When you go into your breeder records, there is a tab for registered puppies. There it will tell you if they have been registered or not. And no, you don't get any notification if they do. |
does it also tell you if the register was limited or full? this way we can find out if a mistake has been made and correct it? |

If you have a pup outside of AKC standard, do you still register them or give registration papers when sold? |

Some register the puppy just to say they are registered with AKC but IMO it's not really necessary to register a pet but I do like to see that they are registered so I will have record of them. Donna Bird Brooklynn's Yorkshire Terriers |

You could always have him neutered first too...that would take care of it...;) |
