Babies
 
Thank everyone for the advice. She finally started getting instinct after me and my daughter got the first two sucking a while. The third one came out breech about two hours later. By then she was ready to be a mom.. The second one scared me to death, he cried and was still attached and she jumped up and took off across the kitchen floor. They are all looking fine this morning and she is hovering over them and being a terrific mom now. I had a little girl first then a boy then another boy.We went to bed around 4:30 this morning. My other yorkie Sugar wants Princess's babies now, I was afraid at first she was going to have to take them. I will keep everyone posted on how they do.Wow, glad this part is over. My Daughter in Fl had her baby boy day before yesterday and he was a premie, only 4 lbs , but he and mom are doing great also. Thanks again everyone for your advice and support.

Im so glad everything turned out ok.

I too was terrified when things didnt go perfectly, but it all worked out in the end.

So there were 3? What are the sex's? Are you gonna keep them? have you named them?

We have two boys and one little girl. Can't keep them, but guarantee they will get good homes. Mama did a complete turnaround by the time the third pup was born. She had nothing at all to do with the first one and when she decided to clean up the second one, he let out a yelp and scared her so bad she jumped outof her box and ran across my kitchen floor with him hanging from his cord. Poor little guy and her too. My husband not thinking picks her up to put her back and i look and see him swinging from his cord. We got the first two nursing and around 3:30 i think she had the third little boy and he was breech. He just slipped right out though. After all that her instincts kicked in, Thank God. She want sta away from them a minute now. Will get some pictures fore everyone soon. Thanks everyone.

Glad that everything is okay. You have to watch them, though. Mine delivered her litte in a baby pen. Can't go nowhere in there. That must have been scary for you seeing that baby still attached! I would have had cardiac arrest right then!

Be careful with other dogs around the new momma and litter. Other bitches have been known for stealing and killing the babies. Just wanted to give you the heads up!

oh, btw...CONGRATULATIONS!!!! POST PICTS!!!! :D

Congrats on all of your new babies! Good job, I know you must be exhausted! Try to get some rest.

Thanks I am exhalsted! Went to bed at 4:30 and up at 8.Babysitting my two year old grandson tonight. hope to get to bed early.

I am anxious to get pictures on here too, I'll take some tomorrow. Took Princess and the little ones to the vet today and had all of them checked out. Gave her some amoxicillin with potassiam and went ahead and cut the dew claws and docked the tails. They are so tiney and very active.She was passing a lot of the green stuff so i decided to get her checked out. Had no fever and he said no babies left inside. I am really pleased at the way she has come around and is the best mom ever now. She looks like she is just enjoying this so much stretched out letting them suck and don't want to leave them for a second.

How is your daughter and her son? 4 pounds is pretty small. Are you going to try to go see them. Difficult with your own little ones, now. I hope you new grandson is doing well.

My daughter came home yesterday and it was really difficult for her to leave Malachi, my grandson. He was breathing on his own for the first time today but still getting fed with i-v in the foot. He has level 11 jaundice. Poor little guy. I believe he is going to be ok, but i would appreciate everyones prayers. This is her first baby.I am trying to keep her attitude positive and not let on how really worried i am. I believe in Prayers.

Big dog sounds like you need a drink! Ha I'm usually wore out for 2 days after pups! Glad to your G_child is doing ok! We well all pray for him! lily

I will be praying for Malachi and his mother. I know it would be horrible to have to leave your baby in the hospital when they are so little and helpless. What is your daughter's name? Do they estimate little malachi's length of stay?

Bigdog I will have your family in my prayers. Congratulations on your grandson and pups. Im glad the pups are fine. I feel sad for your daugther cause I can only imagine how hard it is to leave her baby at the hospital. Nowadays they are so many new things to care for primis and small babies that im sure your little grandson will be fine and will be able to go home very soon. Please keep us posted.

Hello everyone, I have really had a interesting two weeks. The pups are just beautiful, Malachi is starting to drink a little milk from the bottle and you want believe what else happenned. I have another grandbaby. My Son's girlfriend gave birth to a 7lb 4 ounce baby girl at 3am this morning.He has already given me one grandson. Now i am a granny of 6. two girls and 4 boys. One which is not blood related, but we don't care. My 9 year old grandaughter Hannah has spent the last three nights with granny and she is socializing my new babies. When i take Princess out for potty and a little exercise Hannah goes in and baby sits. She is a very responsible little girl and knows how to handle them. . They are filled out and very active, I;m still anxious to get some pictures on here when i get the chance.

Her name is Samantha. My baby girl.I have three girls and one boy and she is the baby, will be 21 in November. My boy is the new daddy also. This is his second child. He already has a two year old boy and a three year old stepson. Gabriel and Isaac.

What a beautiful family. Keep us updated on the babies. Is Samantha doing alright, it is horrible to have to leave a baby in the hospital.

WOW, Another grandbaby, Congratulations. I see you will have a months full of birthdays celebrations, ;) . I hope that everyone is doing fine.
