We have four new babies!!!!!
 

We now have four healthy baby yorkies!

2 boys and 2 girls! Mom and babies are doing great! She did SO well especially with this being her first litter. She did not even yelp!! She is an excellent mother. I am so proud of her :)

Boy #1 was 6 and 5/8oz
Boy #2 was 6 and 1/8oz
Girl #1 was 4 and 3/4 oz
Girl #2 was 5 and 5/8oz

Sorry if it sounded like I was freaking out earlier, I had my husband post the message for me as I was in the middle of delivering! I told him to ask about the water sac, but I think he was freaking out more than I was LOL. I was just concerned at first because there was a water sac hanging out for about 15 minutes and she was not having contractions. Her contractions finally came on strong after about 30 minutes and she delivered the first pup. The second one came fast, delivering only about 10 minutes after the first. The last two were about 30 minutes apart.

They are in their box with mom (and heating pad). I also have a portable heater that I am using to keep the room temp warm for them. I am thinking she is probably done having them all by now.

Thanks so much for all of your advice! I will try to post some pics, but I have SLOW dial-up internet, so it may take a while!

Oh wonderful news I was getting worried cant wait to see pics.No 2 was teeny.

If I ever thought for one second about breeding yorkies (AND I REALLY NEVER DID CONSIDER IT FOR ONE SECOND) this post just sealed the deal that I NEVER Want to!!! BREAK THR SAK? SUCTION THE NOSE AND MOUTH???? YIKES:eek: I'm a wreck and I wasn't even there!!!:eek: I'll leave the breeding to the breeders thanks!
