Enough! With over 2000 posts and numerous threads that I started among the few years I have been a member of YT. This thread is a reminder as to why I rarely come and post here anymore. At one time I spent more time on YT then I did doing my 8 hour a day job. I have found over the years people are mean and downright cruel. Yes this site is called Yorkie Talk, but there are numerous questions about dogs in general. We are here to help, provide insight be friends when someone needs one. If someone needed someone to be cruel to them, I would suggest just going out in the world, as our world has become a very negative place. Why can't we just give answers to questions that we know, or stay away from a thread that annoys us. No one said you had to reply to her question! Yes I believe in the producing beautiful in standard Yorkshire terriers, but I'm sure that their are many of you that would have a field day with my breeding program. You all have become a very negative group. Look at yourselves! You give love and praise to the members who post 100 posts a day, but if someone asks a question that you don't agree with, gosh watch out!! Come on Yt'ers lets be the family we use to be. Lets make everyone feel at home! If you see a thread that you don't agree with, then just be an adult and move on! Don't leave a negative response, just leave! I love this site, but it has become way to much lately! |

Yes, that is true. I have pm'd the OP right after my post and apologized with my reasonings. I told her to look elsewhere for advice because I know that she will get bashed here and I have the feeling that she won't be able to take the criticism very well. So this is a better way of protecting her. Yes, by turning her away and bashing her won't solve anything. As I told her, good luck to you. As long as she takes her time to research. She does need guidance. I know that nothing we say will change her mind. I am not a fan of mixing, but whatever floats her boat. |
Well, said Karen. I am fairly new to YT and some of the comments I read I think are totally unnecessary. It is fine to just state you don't agree with the OP but say it in a kind way. The OP needs to hear both sides but in a kind way. No one is born an expert on breeding but it is wise to learn all you can before attempting it. I made some mistakes over the years, not because I was a bad breeder but because I was never taught or told certain things. Breeding is a huge responsibility and you have to ask your self if you are fully committed to the whole process. Think of the welfare of the bitch. I have seen some cute Morkies but I will always stick with AKC registered purebred dogs. That is just my preference. We should be here to help educate and offer assistance when needed but not dictate. |

My apologies to the OP. It could have been said in a bit nicer way. I totally disagree with what she has in store, but we could have steered her in the right way by nicely putting it. |

I agree some people are very quick to judge and just down right rude on here. I thought we were her to learn not be judged. Seems to me that most of the time the non judgemental post out weigh the judgmental post. Its always the same people who are judgemental. Thanks to all the supportive and helpful YT's:thumbup: |

Thanks to all the supportive and helpful YT's I is almost always the same posters!!! None can learn if they are not taught..Every one has the right to their own opinion is this not America and a open forum. I agree also if you do not like what had been posted do not respond to the thread.I have passed many threads up for that reason.Mums the word! |
