Is this normal?? 4 Attachment(s) I was surfing around Puppyfind.com and notice the most beautiful yorkie pup all gold. How common is this? The pic with the girl is his brothers. Mom is the last picture. Listing: http://www.puppyfind.com/view_listin...26page%25253D1 |
I don't know, but they sure are beauties. |
Not sure either... But, I do know it is NOT the standard for Yorkies. I want what is winning in the ring.....and it is NOT a gold yorkie. Even as a pet, I strongly believe that the Yorkie should be what the AKC states.....in other words, the breed standard. Go to the AKC website and read the description.:D Sorry did not mean to get on my soapbox......I dont usually do that..... Shirley |
Yeah that is a diffrent looking yorkie to me. How ever, I'm sure it will be some ones baby and life long friend...standard or not! |

IDK but he sure is adorable.Maybe there was 2 daddys? |
Beautiful....I'm sure he doesn't know he doesn't meet the standard, and will be just as loved. |
I believe they are called goldens and there are a few on YT. I love the color. I believe it is a recessive gene just like the parti color. They are full yorkies and can have two tradiditonal colored parents. The yorkie purists don't like them because they do not meet the yorkie standard. |
I like the blonde color, I didnt know molly would turn so blonde, she was dark when she was a baby, well she still is a baby, only 10 mths but her face is totally blonde and her legs are blonde as well:) im curious if the rest of her will turn that color:confused: guess we just never know;) |
wow i think that color is so pretty.:) |
What a beautiful color. |
Yes, there are some golden yorkies. I know some members on here have a golden. |
I think as far as the designer breeds of yorkies (chocolate, parti, etc), it is one of the less common. |
They're not rare, and shouldn't cost as much as a yorkshire terrier bred by the standard IMO. |
Wow, $2000?? I see they're somewhere around here(I'm in the 864) area code..humm, cute puppy though |
