Shipping to Mexico Got a question---first off let me state that I personally am not shipping a puppy to Mexico. Someone that I sold a puppy to on a limited registration is trying to talk me into changing it to full registration (which I will not do), because they "had an accident" and thier dog got pregnant. They have puppies now and want to send one to their mother in Mexico. They are telling me that the only way they can do that is if the pups are registered AKC. They PROMISE to get the dog spayed and will show me the vet appointment that is scheduled. They arent going to let them breed again and arent trying to make any money. Let me tell you I dont believe a word they are saying, and I havent found anywhere that it states that about Mexico, but does anyone know any different? It really makes me mad that they are trying to pull this scam with me after I trusted them with one of my babies. I guess we can all get the wool pulled over our eyes sometimes huh? |

Oh goodness they are trying to pull one over you here. Dogs don't have to have any registration to be shipped anywhere. The Health certs etc are the documents needed not registrations. How funny they will show you the vet appt that is scheduled. Deana Prestigeous |
pup They can ship a puppy to the North Pole is they want and do not need an AKC registration. They need a health certificate, rabies etc.. Don't fall for it...I have a feeling they were interested in breeding all along. |
hey jill :) I cant find anything that states the dog has to be registered to be shipped to Mexico, I personally think its not needed, but of course she makes more on her puppies if they are registered. Im so sorry you are dealing with someone who broke your trust. we live and we learn huh. |

That is exactly what I think too. I have looked on the internet and found nothing about them even having to be registerd only that they need health certs and if they are over 4 months they need a rabies shot. This really infuriates me that my own client would try to scam me. I think you are all right that they had planned this all along. The girl I sold her to speaks very little English and had someone who called and helped when she purchased from me and is now having someone call to try get this taken care of. Thanks you guys for your input!! |
I sold her the male almost 3 years ago, I dont know where she got the female, but I guess that the female was not even a year old and got pregnant. I did not specify a time limit on the neuter but my contract states that he was sold on a limited registration, which means you can not breed and that I require you to get him neutered. |
Hey guys can you check out my other thread about vitamins/supplements and let me know what you do. Its in the breeder talk section too. Thanks! |
If you had a contract with them, let whoever know that is interpreting for them, that they violated the terms of the contract. I don't know what you can do if they did. Take the dog back? Get one of the puppies? Insist that the dog is spayed and any offspring that she had. They had all intentions of breeding and definately have no intentions of getting her fixed. |
Sorry, was thinking that she had your girl. She could hand you any kind of Vet certificate, but what proof would you have that it was the one she got from you. If she scammed you once, watch out. She will try it again and I don't think she has any intentions of getting him fixed. |
She called me today when I was at work and so I told her to give me a couple days and call me back. I really just wanted time to dig into what I could actually do about it. Thanks for your input!! When she calls me back, I will try to not fly off the handle at her, but no guarantees;) |
