This whole thread has been a hoot to read!!! More keep coming out of the woodwork too! YAY! |
Also, whats with you all being from the states and judging this Canadian kennel? The strangest thing i have ever heard of - a bunch of Yorkie/Silky owners bashing a kennel's website ... and the actual kennel being a few thousand miles away!? Actually I am not from the US and dogs are shipped back n forth across the border all the time. Hope you spend some time in the forums, sit yourself down, have a browse around. |

And can I just add about the dog allergies... They say on the site that yorkies are okay for people with dog allergies? Well I am allergic to dog saliva and fur.. I dont get a bad reaction but I do come out in a rash on my face. My yorkie gives me this rash just as much as my schnauzer mix does. ;) |
Wow.. just had a look at the site and those dogs are filthy. :( |
AND I just have to post this because it made me chuckle. This is what she says about scammers: "Scammers advertise anywhere you would. The things to look out for specifically are misspelled words, poor grammar and things like my puppy is too hot for this climate, just pay her air fare......" BUT the spelling on her own website is atrocious!! :D She actually uses the word LOL on her website, not very professional is it? The whole website looks like it was created by a child... |
If you really have to ask after looking at that website, you need to take more time to educate yourself. I didn't spend much time there but I didn't see her any of the breeding stock being proven in the show ring, however, I did see some mutts offered for sale! |

The red flags here are: breed several breeds breed mixed breeds (mutts) :thumbdown:thumbdown advertise as teacups :thumbdown:thumbdown So we don't have to visit a breeder in person or even live in the state or country in which they reside in order to have an informed opinion on potential problems with a breeder or their practices. I hope your puppies stay healthy, we are very passionate about Yorkies here and would never want anyone to have problems. That is why so many try and inform and educate before they purchase to minimize this. |

Wow! Did you read their code of ethics? No. 3: "We will breed only for the purpose of improving the quality of the breed. We will try to conscientiously plan each litter of puppies for sale, selecting a stud dog and bitch to be mated based on their pedigrees, conformation and temperment." So why do they breed "designer dogs" - crosses that cannot be registered. Reputable breeders do not breed "crosses" and prevent "happy mistakes" if they breed more than one breed. 8. Puppies offered for sale are to be registered, or have limited registration with the Canadian Kennel Club, or are crosses which cannot be registered. |
Does anyone really even pay attention to anything said by a new member who joins for the sole purpose of defending a questionable breeder and telling the rest of us how unintelligent we are? I don't think so. |
But isn't it lovely they keep bumping the thread for newbees to read? |

yes, I love it:D |
right, i think a nerve has been hit somewhere here! i am impressed by the fact that so many different owners of kingcreek puppies ALL managed to find this thread and post fabulous things about the kennel... yet all of us idiots have managed to stay away from them. also, i noticed that even though they are clearly delibrately breeding and selling tinies of each breed, they tell people to stay away from 'teacups' because "It is a pup that is smaller than most. We breeders are keeping up with you public to provide smaller dogs. The only problem with that is, if a pup will be under 3lb as an adult it will likely have health issues for ever. Stay away from really tiny ones. They could be the runts of the litter." surley with that being the cse it would be better not to breed purse size shih tzus? sorry to tell ya'll this kingcreek kennels fans, but if a kennels site has soo many contradictions on their own breeding ethics etc, it IS a red flag! |
