Hi Yorkierose , Could you give me your opinion about the Yorkies on the website www.pellerdore.com Thank you |
site The site is impressive the way it is set up...very nice. They have two types, the elegant silk, long legged and regal..and the soft, smaller type..and I really LOVE DYLAN and GINO. Bessie is lovely, Jazmin love the color of the darker steel in many is gorgeous..some are too light, some are soft..but that is what you get...I like the look of leg and neck..top lines are nice.. Next generation...I love Sapphira wow! Utah and Q Mary are also lovely. BUT..I think the least quality are the ones in the US photo's..I do not like anything about Moncherry and Draco!! Looks like they are keeping the best at home..LOL The English say we look so silly putting our hands under the tail to make it stand up whenthey are stacked on the table...do you notice how they pull the head up and the nose is to the sky..makes them look regal. I love their Yorkies..but here in FLorida they could not buy a win, theywant small, dark and baby faced....but on the East coast and NY area they love the opposite. |
Thank You Pat , I really love Dylan , Gino and Sapphira too . |

bite Kim, you are right, it well not effect her as a brood bitch at all. It will effect her offspring. In a litter of 4 pups..it will be 50/50 chance of passing on the same bite or worse. I think she is a very pretty Yorkie, with many good qualities. |
So did you decide to get her or not? I like her face. Bite might get better in time if baby tooth was pulled. If you decide to get her - how would you get her here? Is there a lot of paperwork involved? Did you or will you have to pay for her in full before paperwork is started? Is is easy to change registry? Just curious - never got a pup from out of country before, but notice a lot more are these days. I even noticed the well known breedersshow buy and sell overseas - you just have to look at pedigrees to see. I think she is a doll. Best of luck. Let us know if you get her here and when. :) T. |

I think with this teeth problem the price of 2500$ is too much. For this money you can easily get a perfect dog here in Europe, without such an outstanding problem. I donīt think it would correct for itsown, the overbite is too big for that. Of course there are braces, but you only manipulate with it the looking you canīt change the genes. If you really want to start breeding, I would look to get a nearly perfect bitch. Would say sheīs nice as a pet. I only can speak for Germany, but here you wouldnīt be allowed to breed her with an overbite you would only get good or worse at the shows. |
My experience 3 Attachment(s) Hi, I have bought from Kinga before. She's a really nice person. We still email photos now and then. Mandy is the girl I purchased. I love her completely bu she's not perfect. She is a little longer in body and very very light. I didn't realize how light she would mature to be. I just bred her to Sultan and they have 2 beautiful boys. they look like a rich gold color now anyway, only time will tell. I had a good experience with Kinga. And wouldn't hesitate to buy from her again. My opinion on the bite is a little over is OK you can correct that with the right male. Undershot is a NO-NO in my breeding program. I would ask about her color. From the picture of the sire, he looks rather light IMO. But you need to pick and chose what faults you are comfortable with. My main concern is LP and LS. Mandy came over from Hungary sound in knees no luxation and free of LS! That's HUGE IMO. The few imperfections she does have are cosmetic, will NEVER effect the quality of life. That's what I look for for breeding. Best wishes, Irene PS. The one pic is of Mandy as a puppy, she didn't look light at the time..and then the others are now..see how light she is?? |
Wow! I can't get over how much your Mandy looks like the girl I'm considering. What is her pedigree like? I think Kinga is really sweet. I haven't "talked" to her on the phone but thru emails for a while now. |
Amanda, I think she is just gorgeous :) |
I love some of the European lines. Many of them have more of the almond shaped eyes I like. I think I would hesitate with this female unless I saw a real improvement on her bite in pictures. It looks a bit much to be just from puppy teeth to me. Also consider your dealing with another country, not just a state. So if you have a problem you may have to just deal with it alone. I wish you luck. I hope if you get her she is everything your looking for. I do like many of their Yorkies. |
I can tell you by personal experience that I will NEVER purchase a yorkie without putting my hands on it first! Last year I purchased a show quality male and female from Hungary, they came from different breeders. The female is nice, but she was almost a year old when I received her and had NEVER even been on a lead before. The male that I purchased for show, was at best pet quality.. He had an awful overbite, coat was so thin you could see through it and his ears were tied together. Alot of breeders in Hungary tie ears to make the ears look better! He was sold to me as show quality, which he was not! The show breeder offered for us to sell him here in the US, which made me responsible for any other problems he may have in the future, send her the money and she would replace him. Needless to say I did place him, but I did NOT send her the money and let her send me another so call show male! You might be able to get one over on me the first time, but I will not give you a chance to do it again! What I placed he for in a pet home it was for pennies to what I had in him! Do not think just because the pedigree is out of this world that the dog you are purchasing from it will match the quality of the pedigree! Melanie |
Have you seen how many American and Canadian lines are in these pedigrees ? Mostly Durrer , Rothby , Nicnak etc etc . When I was looking for Kellie and Venus , I went on internet to see what I could have oversea . Looking at the pedigrees , I told myself why pay more when I could see the dogs and meet the breeders in persons . I bought in America and Canada . |
