no experience here...but i would stay away from them...the website tons of red flags...have you looked in our for sale section..there are some precious babies awaiting new homes...and even some that are needing to be rehome...if those don't work have you thought about rescuing...just a thought...good luck on your search! |
I bought my yorkie from Jadsdelights.. i bought my yorkie [named maizy] from jadsdelights.com - i originally found them on breeders.net and was attracted to their prices. i saw her picture on their page and she was exactly what i was looking for. although i noticed the other yorkie puppies on the page looked a bit odd.. i wasn't skeptical. when i went to pick her up, the breeder [angie] wanted to meet me somewhere versus me going to her house. i thought that was a little shady because i read that most reputable breeders let you come to their house so that you can see the enviroment, meet the parents, etc. i went ahead with everything and really didn't have any problems, besides maizy itching her ears alot. i immediately took maizy to my vet for an examination. everything checked out okay except for maizy having EAR MITES. my vet thought it was kind of rare for a dog to have ear mites and questioned the breeder. a couple weeks went by and maizy started having diarrhea. i took her to the vet on friday with a stool sample and he discovered that she has coccidia. my vet told me that this was most likely contracted from maizy's mother and the fact that maizy also had ear mites had him extremely skeptical of the breeder. he seems to think that the breeder is some kind of broker - she buys cheap puppies through a puppy mill and then sells them to make money. i think he's right, especially looking at the website and seeing all different ages of puppies. BIG RED FLAG. he also told me that the birthdate the breeder gave me could be wrong, since she's supposed to be about 4 months but hasn't lost a single baby tooth yet. i'm extremely happy with maizy and as far as i'm concerned she's perfect and i couldn't have asked for a better fit. however it is very upsetting to know that she could have been from a puppy mill and that her birthdate is not what they told me it is. i would NOT recommend this breeder to ANYONE. i lucked out with maizy, looking at the pictures of some of the other puppies on the page - i agree that some didn't even look purebred. my advice to anyone is to do your research beforehand. look for signs, they are always there. [i didn't see them or realize it until AFTER my purchase] - don't be in a rush to get a puppy without getting the facts first. i looked for several months for my puppy - the picture of her and the cheap price [$700] sold me. i have no regrets but someone else might not be as lucky in the future. |

I tried to look at the puppies on her site and the pictures would not come up. Maybe she took them down due to this forum. |
well i think she takes the pictures down after she sells them - because maizy's picture came down the weekend i bought her. instead of deleting it off their page, it just shows a tiny red x mark. she must not have any available right now - or hasn't had time to take a trip to the puppy mill, HA. |
same here...i didn't see pictures either! |
yorkie Well you people that like to bad mouth other breeders that you know nothing about have alot of nerve. My family has breed yorkies for over 15 years and no I dont show and my website says so. If you take the time and read it says that several people share this site and yes over the years there has been some very poor quality pups on here that where not mine but I kept to my word by letting these pups be posted. But I have changed my policy and now only let pups I feel that are of at least good pet quality be advertised thru this site. Yes we do have poodles also but dont have litters often.. and if you feel having two breeds means your not a good breeder well that is your opinion but it doesnt affect the quality that we produce at all. As for the price of my pups we are not trying to rob the average person like most of your so called show breeders do, who are probably the ones saying there are red flags because we offer our pups at a much better price then them. How can you talk like this about other people when you dont know them.. I get emails all the time from very satisfied customers with pictures and up dates. Actually I sell to alot of repeat buyers so If I am so bad why such a repeat in customers.. And I will be letting those people know what is being said so they can get on here and post what they think. Also I have never refused anyone to come to my home.. but most people dont want to travel 2 or 3 hours so I offer to meet them.. I am going out of my way to meet people so if you feel uncomfortable then make the drive. I only have seen two people on here that have bought from me and they are very happy with there pups even thou that had a couple minor issues.. As for mites well I live in a very country area and my dogs encounter all types of wild animals and feral cats which do carry mites.. We treat our dogs with a monthly pest preventive to help eliminate these issues but dogs do get mites which buy the way is very treatable and cocida well if you do your research all dogs carry this but normally only show up during stress. I have bought alot of pup/dogs over the years and everyone has had this. You people need to really do your research before you start bad mouthing..I also am always here to talk with people with what ever issues they may have or encounter down the road..It is such a shame that there are people that are so worried about us non show breeders taking your business well hate to tell you but I couldnt afford your prices and not many people can.. I price my dogs according to what I feel I could pay because I actually think they are worth alot more considering what other so called reputable breeders charge and for those who feel I am not a reputable breeder well good luck with your search of quality pups at my price.. maybe I should start charging a fortune like many others so I can be considered a reputable breeder.. I dont feel that resonable prices affect the quality. So who ever decides not to buy from me that just gives someone else a chance at a great pup at a very resonable price.. |
