Puppy Born As Big As A Shoe Size 8 PLEASE DONT LAUGH! :( I have been on puppy watch for the last week & 2 days! it got so bad that I have a baby monitor on 24/7. I literally have been going nuts! last night I was Sooooooooo tired I went to bed hoping I could get a good nights rest (with the monitor on!) I was jumping up every hour or so but it felt like every other minute. every move she would make sounded like a earth quake! at about 3:30 in the morning I was awaken by winning sounds I was like oh no! I feel asleep on my poor baby as I was staggering to get to her, trying to get my eyes to stay open I looked in her whelping box and what do I see a very exhausted little girl starring up at me with such a sad face I bent down to comfort her! to my surprise, I found that she had given birth. I looked real closely I thought I was dreaming! this pup was as big as my foot (I'm a size 8) :2omg: I said no way I tried to get it on the mom to nurse but its mouth almost took four nipples I was freaking out trying to make sense with all of this! when all of a sudden out from her blanket comes another puppy only this one is as big as my pinky and looks all grown up, even had a pretty pink bow in it's head. it started barking and going after me to leave its mom and brother alone I got so scared! it chased me all the way back to my bed! I laid there thinking what am I going to do? I must have falling asleep again cause it was repeating itself all over again I awoke to the same sounds I got up thinking what is going on? I was so scared to leave my bed in fear I would get attacked! I finally realized I must have been dreaming and went and checked on her she and she is fine a little restless but other then that doing ok! I'm still sleepless in Illinois! there's more to this story but if I told you everything you all would think I'm nuts! I cant wait till its over! |
oh my! sounds like you just really need a good nites sleep! Hope those babies come soon and they are all healthy (and normal sized)! :p |

dreams I hope all goes well and it can be so stressful can't it? I dreamed about a litter once that was so small, I had to use a magnifying glass to find them..I sat down and started crying, asking how any breeder could be expected to care for such pups? PLEASE someone have pity on me!!! |
Aren't anxiety dreams the strangest things? |
Oh my goodness!! lol :) |
Since I began breeding...I tend to have those same horrible dreams I did when I was pregnant with my kids.....missing paws (feet), no legs.......horrible things.....I suppose you could call them anxiety dreams.... I once dreamt that a whole litter was born green.....don't know where that came from; maybe the jolly green yorkie....nothing other than yorkies in my house... |
