:cry: Bella has 18 days until her due date on December 13!! im getting excited! she is soo fat now....im starting to feel bad for her :( but anyway just had to post on how excited i am for her first litter! i am starting to get her nursery ready for whelping! any advice would be great! i have learned to much from books and the info on here i just cant get enough!

Yay!!! Congratulations and I hope all goes well for the two of you and all the little ones. :D We're expecting on the 6th, so we'll be having ours a little before you and she is soooooo fat and waddles everywhere. The vet told me that since she was showing so early that she'd have a big litter of about 6 or 7. :eek: How many are you expecting? Are you keeping any of the little bundles of joy? We're thinking of keeping a little girl. :D

well bella is pretty big...which makes me think she will be having a bigger litter....i was hoping for a smaller one, but you get what God blesses you with! :D she is already waddling and showing her big belly anyway, i am thinking of keeping one, not sure on the sex of it yet i guess whichever little one steals my heart...which im sure they all will and i wont want to get rid of them tear! haha but i would love to keep one!

A pre-congratulations to the two of you (or should I say four of you?) You are in for the time of your life. I am soooo enjoying my Lexie's four puppies that she had 6 weeks ago. And yes, there is one of them that is stealing my heart (the smallest, little Halle), but they will all be going to new forever homes when the time comes:( But right at about that time, we will be getting our new little boy, Toby, from a great YT breeder, Sugars Mom. Getting back to your upcoming litters...I read alot of speculating on the size of the litters. Will either of you be getting xrays done to see exactly how many pups to expect? I highly reccomend it - Lexie's contractions stopped before our 4th was born and since we knew from the xrays that another one was still there, we knew to get her in for an oxytocin shot to the the contractions started again. Good luck with thre remainder of your pregnancys and I'll be watching for your whelping threads.
