Abbreviations on pedigrees.... I am looking at an AKC certified pedigree and don't know, or can't find all the abbreviations that are on this. I see that some are listed on the back, but others I have know idea of what they mean: CBKC; SPX; RG; TP; TR Thanks to anyone that can explain these :-) |
info I have seen TP TR in front of the AKC number..it actaully means nothing, just a part of the AKC recorded number... CBKC sounds like a Kennel club of some sort..the other is a mystery to me..but these letters are not infront of any dogs name are they..never heard of them.. |
the main abbrv you will see on the front is ch for champion and a dna number....other than that, i have not seen anything else |
Looks like you are looking at a Brazilian pedigree - CBKC (Confederacao Brasileira De Cinofilla). They are members of the FCI Genealogic register service export pedigree. AKC accepts them to transfer to AKC. I think that RG just means registration. What you want to look for on the pedigree here for champions are A1, - A6, BA - BJ, CA - CN, DA - DI, and EA - EE and last FA. The BA - FA are combination for multiple titles. You will probably have to pay for the export pedigree and then fill out paperwork and pay for AKC registration. I hope this helps. T. |
Well, it sure helped me!! Thanks.. |
Thanks for the knowledge. |
