I think?! When I got up this morning Olive was laying on her cover in her "nesting place" and shaking a little.. I think this is THE DAY! I'm so excited, I love puppies. anyways.. she wants to be where ever I am, so I gotta go do some breathing exercises with her..lol hee hee hooo hee hee hoo.

So far we have one boy (1st born) and one girl. Lady O, as my husband calls her, is doing amazing. I will get pics as soon as all is over and well, just wanted to give an update. thanks for all the kind words and missy, I hope you'll be a g-ma soon too!

we are still at 2.. one boy and one girl. the vet couldn't tell us for sure how many but I think I still feel one more. the first two came very quickly, but now she is getting tired. I just got her to leave them for a minute and eat to help keep her energy up, so hopefully we'll have more soon! anyways, these pics were taken very quickly.. like I said the picture quality is horrible..but the first two are the female, you can see her coloring and her white blaze, the last pic is the male who is much darker, you can't see his tan/gold markings as well

Just checking in to see if #3 has came yet. I pray Olive will deliver her #3 without any complications.

Baby Boy and girl are so cute! Do we have a weight for them yet?

It's awfully late in the day...I pray:hands: that Olive is doing alright. We're all waiting and hoping for more good news.

Sorry I didn't get on here last night... the 3rd puppy came (finally) at about 3-3:30.. she chewed the umbilical cord and all was well. Then my husband got home around 5:30 and I was checking all the pups again and she had pulled the last lil guys cord more, too much and a little of his innerds were out.. a little hernia type deal. I couldn't get it pushed back in, so I had to run to the vet and didn't get home until 8:45.. then it was time to get everyone fixed up for the night and time to get my little guys to sleep, so I didn't get to update. Didn't mean to leave you all hangin' .. just a LONG day. But so far this morning all is well, pups and mom seem to be doing great. I will try my best to get some pics up in the nursery today. thank you all so much for checking on us and your kind words :ghug: and puppy kisses to all.

Glad to know #3 finally arrived! I was getting worried about Olive.

So how do you prevent the bitch from chewing on the cords after the birth? Won't the iodine taste bad and prevent her from wanting to chew on it??:confused:
