Looking for Gift for Breeder? :D Hello, I am looking for a gift to give to the breeder of my future fur baby. This breeder has been amazing with me and I would like to give her a gift that she would enjoy. I was thinking something personalized, but what do you all think? Thank you for the response... ~Kim PS...I purchased a puppy from this breeder, a gorgeous little girl, she was always healthy and her temperment was amazing.Well after talking to some people,we though it was bested to wait on the rabies vaccine til she was a little older, beccause of how small she was. Well we ended up getting the vaccine at about 9 months old and it is believed that the she died from this. I contacted my breeder and she offered to replace her, its been over a year and I know feel ready to welcome a newcomer into the family. :) We are very excited and will be picking him/her up once he/she is 12 weeks old. (Not born yet, but thought I would start getting ready. :D ) This breeder definalty loves her fur babies and takes great care in placing them in homes, and is always answering any questions I have whenever I have them. I just want to thank her, for being such a great example. |
Not sure but I think if you express your feelings to her and send her constant updates on the baby and how happy it's made you it would go a long way. But if you have money to splurge I am sure a nice BMW would be fine :D |
Awww...I am sorry to hear about your little one. :( I don't have any ideas about what to get the breeder...maybe a nice gift basket from Bath & Body Works to pamper herself for all her hard work. (Heck, I know I would sure want one!) |
:D I was thinking like a some kind of of dog gift basket, maybe I will just make one, I know there are certain treats and toys she does not allow her puppies to have , so maybe that would be best. Maybe a gift card and some treats for her fur babies. :) Thank you for the responses :) |
gifts I love every gift I get..most give Yorkie items...BUT gifts certs to a restaurant are high on my list... one found out where I got my dog food and gave me a gift cert...another gave my vet $100 paid into my account. Vets office sent a card telling me..it was for a Christmas present. People feel funny giving money outright, understandable...but know breeding is expensive. One bought me a small gold locket with her Yorkies photo in it..nice. |

I know that mine said she went through alot of "little" toys for the puppies. So I'm sure a basket of baby blankets and toys would be really nice    |
I sent a breeder a gift basket of cookies from Harry and David. I figured who doesn't like cookies? I had also thought about sending a care package for her other yorkies(Bobo's, mink sheen, snap barrettes, etc.) |
I have had people give me all kinds of things and they were all apprecited. One person brought me a gift bag of all the doggie shampoos and conditioners she sells. It was great. Another brought bags of treats for the dogs. That was great. My personal favorite of all times was a big box of candy made in kentucky that had lots of good old kentucky Bourbon Balls in it. YUMMY!!!!! |
I think that is precious that you want to give back to the breeder that made you happy. I am a breeder and the most precious gift that I received from one of my new puppy owners was a Yorkie Dog frame with a picture of the puppy I sold her in her new home. she also send a photo album of the puppy and her. I think that made me feel good seeing how happy the puppy was and how happy the puppy made her. gives breeders a good feeling to know they made a good choice for their new home. |
