I literally got sick to my stomach. My heart aches for what this baby had to go through. I have cried and cried thinking about this. Why the hell did she even get a dog if she didn't want to do the chores that come with it. She is a nurse.. who knows what treatment her patients or even her own child get. She is a monster and needs to be put away!!

Why is it that You tube clearly states no animal abuse and this is still on. When I tried to flag it it just told me that there is an age warning attached. ??? So that makes it ok??? I just don't get it. :thumbdown

I wouldn't watch this, and I don't understand why you would even post something like this..... you enjoy watching abuse, how very sad! I pray for all animals that are abused.

I am so glad to hear that you sent the link to the ASPCA. Even if they can't do anything about it, I am a firmer believer that if a lot of people see what this monster did, they can somehow put a lot of pressure or force the Brazilian laws to punish that woman for what she did!

I find it offensive that you would say I enjoy watching animal abuse, just because I shared this video in here.
The reason why I posted it in here, was for the simple fact to maybe make this video viral hoping the person who abused this poor dog would be punished.
I never in a million years would enjoy watching something like this, and it offends me that you would think that of me. I could not sleep well last night because this video traumatized me so much and I kept playing it in my head all night.
I also have 2 beautiful yorkies whom I love to death, and I am in veterinary medical school, to become a VET, and do you really think if I "enjoyed" watching animal abused I would even consider in becoming a VET?
It seems like everybody wants this "forum" to be only about good posts and happy things, but they forget that there are millions of animals being abused everywhere. Sorry if I offended someone for just trying to help in-defenseless animals and trying to stand up for them by sharing what they go through.

Well, I think by you posting this for everyone to watch, you are giving the video notariety, which it does not deserve. If you truly want this person to be punished, there are other ways to go about doing so, not by making it a popular video. I think we are all aware of the animal abuse that goes on, and it is very, very sad, it truly breaks my heart. Yes, it is true that when I go on YorkieTalk, I enjoy reading informative and pleasant information, most of us do. I absolutely understand you wanting to help defenseless animals, but it should be done in a different manner. I am sorry I offended you, just had to share my viewpoint on this.

Yes, we are all aware of animal abuse, but i wanted to share this because in Brazil there are no laws against animal cruelty, so people can do whatever they want and not have any punishment at all, [being a Brazilian myself, I know this.] and by me posting this video here, I was hoping somehow we could bring to attention of Brazilian law enforcement, so they could open their eyes and do something about it, make a change and see that animal cruelty is something very serious and should have punishment for it. But I am not here to argue or fight with anyone about anything, I am here for the same reason everybody else is, to support and show love to Yorkies, and any other kind of animals. I believe everybody has their own opinion and it should ALL be respected, whether people agree or not.

Ps, since you said there are other ways to go about doing this instead of posting a video, please list some solutions here so I know what to do next time this happens. I surely do not want to hear from people I "enjoy" animal cruelty; because that hurt just as much as seeing that video. =(

The title of this post clearly states "Attention: Yorkshire Beat to death. Warning graphic video" so if you have no interest in reading the details of why this is posted here then don't click on the post to read it.

The OP posted this to get the word out there. THe more people that know about the lack of laws in Brazil the better. Power in numbers to change the law and do what is right. The woman in the video is clearly mentally disturbed and should not own a dog, or be around children. She needs to go to jail or be put in a mental institution so she can get help. Paying a silly monthly fee is not enough, especially for a woman who is a nurse and is married to a doctor. You can see what she did to the poor 5lb dog, just think of what could happen if the 3 year old ticks her off...

YT is a very popular site and comes up whenever you search for yorkies or yorkshire terriers so by posting this here more people will become aware of the situation. If no one is aware of it then it seems like no one cares, and if no one cares, then this woman will get away with what she did and will do it again.

As I said earlier I did not watch the video, I don't believe the video is necessary. Again, I agree this woman should be prosecuted to the fullest.I explained my point earlier.

Lulu's mom, you keep saying that the video was not necessary but if it had not been posted nobody would know what happened. So it is horrible to see (I could not see all video) but it is necessary to go viral that way the Brazilian president will feel pressed and maybe we can see something happening with her. :animal-pa
