| angelsrnx2u | 12-05-2011 11:00 PM | Infections? on Spay. That so true and how I feel! I'am new and a little lost and ran acroos this enjoyed reading it. I just had two of my babies spayed Mommy is doing fine but her daughter's incision still a little osie and it will be two weeks tomorrow they are suppose to get stitches out. I contacted vet after 3rd day because Buttercup swelled up and looked infected, There was also this strange bump like maybe she stitched to tight at one end like the skin was folded over, and when she would walk, she would quickly look back like someone was pinching her, she did'nt even want to walk to go potty or her favoite cookie I knew then something was wrong! I took her in vet. she said it looked fine, and to soak in epson salt- they made me feel like I was bothering them for bringing her in, after the weekend now (5-days later) my sister shows up and I tell her look at Buttercup' incision that I'am worried she said .".O'h my gosh this is infected" it was hot red, yellow- green and inflamed! it got worst I called vet again.. antibotics were prescribed- over phone-on 5th day) Her mom's cici's was fine be 3rd day,the wound was closed up, and was healing great! so you see I had something to compare wounds. Now it's 2-weeks tommorrow- So I was here to see if anything was posted about spays and infections, before I go to vet. tomorrow after two weeks- if the incision should still be open looking pink-red and still draining a yellowy pus? I want to know if I can trust this vet. that I 'am new too. Thanks for any replies. Cici and Buttercup's... Mommy
P.S.( I hope I post this in the right place) |
