AKC Tricks Titles AKC now has tricks titles you can work towards competing in levels Novice, Intermediate and Advance. Acquiring all 3 titles to earn your chance at The Dog Performer title where you would perform tricks from all 3 levels to tell a story. I'm sharing this with all you folks who are teaching your pups tricks. This can give you fun new ideas of what to teach. Guinness is my "tricks" therapy dog who performs on visits. http://www.akc.org/trick-dog/trick-dog-applications/ |
If you have do more with your dog trick titles for this year only you can send them a copy and they will give you the title that corasponds with that title. |
I was so excited about this! We are working on getting these titles. Jackson has always enjoyed tricks since he was a pup. It's cool to have something to "officially" accomplish with him so we will be aiming towards getting them all. :) Taylor - I messaged BFF and I'm going to get a trainer to evaluate us there! So excited. |
Hi Brister! Glad you're seeing this... was thinking of you and Jackson when I posted this thread. I'm thinking you can easily title on all four levels and have a blast doing it. Keep us posted! |
Interesting that you should post this right now. Cali and I just signed up at our Agility club to take their new tricks class! Just sounded like fun :D |

I need to find a place to get Rowan certified. He knows a lot of the tricks on the lists and I will use the lists to teach him more tricks. This would be a lot of fun to get him actual certificates for his tricks! He loves to perform! He currently knows over 20 tricks and I want to increase that number by a lot over the next year or so. |
