Ilona just shared with me, that Lola got the Top obedience Champ 2011 for Yorkshire Terriers in Canada.

Way to go LOLA. You can see Lola learning to dock dive on videos here.

Lola is Razzle's Mom. He has such Huge steps to follow....

I am so excited for Ilona! Lola is quite an amazing dog. I love seeing her in action on Ilona's website. Your Razzle is so special, too, and he takes after his mom. Although it's a bit too far back to really affect Katie, Lola is Katie's great-grandmother.

Oh it counts most especially with temperament. For working qualities you want a long line of working dogs behind your dog!

So I'm thinking of trying dancing with Razzle. Going to look up some infor here for lessons in the winter time and see if anything is going on nearby.

I did try an intro course with Magic, but he was just too big to go underneath my short legs:D:eek:

That's great to know. Ilona has done such a great job with my girl. Katie has such a great combination of inquisitiveness, intelligence,a love of life, and obedience, but she also has such spunk and is so loving. She teases me like crazy when we play.

Oh I can't wait to hear the stories if you start dancing with Razzle. That sounds like such fun, and your boy is so gorgeous!!! I saw the video of Ilona dancing with her border collie online, and it was great.

Wow I've only seen that in person! I'd love to see the video, could you post the link.

Ilona has a beautiful photo of Una at the World Agility competitions, going through the ring. She (Una) was Magic's first love, she how-ever despised him.lol lol. Una is very deeply missed by Ilona first, and by those of us who knew and loved that very smart border collie.

Una in her own right helped to train and inspire Magic. Magic just wanted to someday beat her to that Toy!!!!! I have a Labour Day training video, that in some small way captured their competitive hearts. I still miss Una, she was very special.

Awww, Gail, Una sounds so special and so loved. I remember when you told me she passed away, and I know how heartbroken Ilona must have felt and you, too. I've seen photos of Una with Lola and this video is so great. I hope it shows up.

Your welcome. I've watched it many times, and it's so great to see Ilona doing something she obviously loves to do. Her love for dogs is so apparent. I can feel it every time I talk to her. Her love for Katie came through loud and clear to me.

Your story about Magic really touched me.

It's strange that the video is no longer showing, but if you click on the title bar, it opens up. Lola is a beautiful little girl, and I know she is an amazing athlete. The video below is Lola getting her CD title. I absolutely love the bond that Ilona shares with Lola and seeing the wag of Lola's tail.

My MIL does this with her border collie. She's been doing it for 10 years and loves it. Her club has put together two large productions and drew in huge crowds. It's pretty amazing to watch!
