How to make a paw print? Bodhi's feet have just been trimmed of excess hair and I would like to make a paw print. What do you think I should use? Watercolor paint washed off immediately afterwards? Food color could stain. Hmmm.... |
Hmm, interesting question. Food color would probably be easiest I think. Some kind of silly putty would be pretty easy to do (make it flat and press his paw on it). Cute idea! |
Good question, I'd like to make some paw prints too!! :aimeeyork |
There have been greeting cards sent to our friends and I have always included all of our pet's name with ours when we sign the card. For an added touch I take my stamping ink pad, dip the paw onto the pad and press paw onto the card. Afterwards I just wash the paw. It's really cute and works well. Not messy or anything!! |
i would not do food color... its not harmful, but it stains the skin for a time....... if you want to go the water color rout i would make it VERY dark, but the best option would be to go with a stamp pad, you can pick a good one up at any craft store |
just an idea.... colored chalk to get the print. then maybe transfer to potato to make a stamp. |
Maybe kid's paint, like Crayola or some other kinda of finger paint. It wouldn't be toxic and most are usually washable. It just may not have a wide color range but I guess you could always mix colors. |
