I think both parties involved need to communicate and do what is in the best interest of this pup. without all the name calling and illness issues of the persons not the pup involved. The main thing here is the pups well being. I do not believe this pup would suffer if he went back to the breeder. This is my opinion and I am not telling anyone what they should or shouldn't do. For some that have questioned the replacement pup in contracts, there is no set in stone clause that says that has to be done. It is put there as an option. In my opinion the biggest problem here is communication. |

I think mistakes were made on both sides, starting with the decision to get a high maintenance tiny pup when one's own health needs to be the priority. I understand the need for emotional support, I understand loss~ I just think a puppy is too much right now. It sounds like giving him back and hoping for financial resolve is the best option. The breeder can't pay you until you can change ownership which was made difficult by your early registration. There are no winners here but I wish everyone (including the breeder) peace.
